Sketch Saturday 67

Just a quick post with a last minute card for Saturday Sketchers. I don't think it was one of my better ideas to decide to make a card for a challenge at nearly 10 o'clock at night!! Dreadful picture again but I'll replace it tomorrow. This was a good sketch to follow and isn't Tilda lovely with her pot of strawberries. I have to admit that I got some colour outside the lines when I watercoloured her hair and that is why she has a flower shaped jewel in her hair lol. I used some DPs from the Paper Company and jewels, flower and little pearls are from my stash. Nesties have been used to cut out the rectangle and circles and I added stickles to the flower.
Hopefully I can try to get a better photo tomorrow. I seem to say that all the time. I really need to mend my ways and not be at the last minute all the time. Well maybe not all the time but often enough. It's worse when you don't always know when the closing time is. OK if it is UK time but worse if you have to try to figure it out for another country. Also not all challenge blogs tell you when the closing time is, sometimes just the day. Would be handy to know for definite. Does anyone else agree? Also it would be handy if there was a clock with the time for whatever country the closing time was for eg USA or wherever.

Best go and post this now and enter the challenge and quit prattling!!

Have a good weekend girls, maybe see you tomorrow.

Kat xx
Saturday now and I've changed the photo. Maybe not much better but I think the DPs are quite difficult to get a good photo of!!

  1. This is lovely Kat,I think we are having trouble with the fact that the blog world is SO BIG and can't keep up,I have made card's for challenges and forgot to see how I got on. I like to enter all the challenges just for the fun of it,I don't want to be in it to win, I just love the support as I know as a crafter how much we put in to our work, for example I made a card for some one that took two day's to make and I got £3.00 for it.( don't get me wrong I would give them away, it's just some times when you have put your heart into it it mean's so much more )
I used to make and sell card's,but have decided I don't need the pressure any more as it was killing the fun of it.

I have the same problem with my camera, after I have finished a card it's a pain to get a true picture.

    Have a lovely weekend Kat,
We are taking the boy's to see Pete's Mom Tommorrow,we are hoping she will be well enough for a few Photo's as we haven't got any recent ones. She was a card maker too, I have some lovely card's she made use and the boy's over the year's...

    sorry for the long comment
