Bright Happy Birthday.

It's lucky I managed to make some cards yesterday since I haven't achieved anything today! I went to a blood donor session this morning followed by a quick trip to the Papeterie to check out their new supplies. I'm hoping to go there on Sunday as it's their 6th birthday at the weekend. They're going to have lots going on all weekend. Demos, makes and takes, special offers and Charlotte's famous cupcakes. I needed to get some card so it was the ideal chance to have a browse around and make a mental list of what I need (want). Then I nipped into Asda which took a wee while! So by the time had my lunch, checked my emails, looked at some of my favourite blogs it's now after 4pm!!

So here's a card I made with a new PB stamp I bought at the SECC recently. Isn't he cute?

I used :-
Image :- Penny Black.
Sentiment :- Craftwork Cards.
Colouring :- Promarkers.
DP :- Eline's Huis.
Lace, pearls, flowers and Glamour Dust.

I'm going to enter the following challenges :-
Passion for Promarkers :- Animals
Papertake Weekly :- Bingo - Die cuts, free and glitter.
Penny Black :- Anything Goes.

Friday morning - just realised I'd forgotten to include the Penny Black challenge!

Well it's a gorgeous day here again and I'm going to craft at a friend's house tonight so I'd best go and organise tea and walk the dogs.

Catch you all later and thanks for looking.

Penny Black 161 Starburst.

Hi everyone, just a quick post with yet another Christmas card. Before I forget there's still time to enter the challenge and blog hop over at House Mouse and Friends. I have candy and you can find my post with my GDT card and details of it here.

I used :-
Image :- Penny Black.
Sentiment and card candi :- Craftwork Cards.
DP :- Basic Grey - Jovial.
Martha Stewart punches, small star punch, Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder, nesties, gems and Glamour Dust.

I'm entering the following challenges with this card :-
Penny Black :- Starburst.
Basic Grey :- Sketch and DP.
Passion for Promarkers :- Animal Antics.

I think that's all for now. I took my car for it's MOT this morning and haven't done anything useful yet! We have an excellent small garage about 2 miles away and my husband phoned the other day and was told just to bring it in at 9am and they would do it while I waited. ok for him but a wasted hour or so for me and since it was raining when I came back I haven't hung out my washing and I need to go to work in a couple of hours! Best try to do some housework though.

Catch up with you all later, I hope. At the moment I don't seem to get much done except keeping up with my DT and GDT visits.

Thanks for looking.

Uncle Bill's Birthday Card.

I've not really achieved much on my day off but at least I've got a card made for my lovely Uncle Bill's 90th birthday. Uncle Bill loves his golf so I wanted to do something golf orientated. Luckily I had Popcorn bear with his golf clubs. Unfortunately it is a very big stamp and I didn't have a big enough block. I did find something suitable eventually but the image is so big I struggled a bit wondering how to make a card especially since I thought I'd best make an A5 one. I don't usually make big cards unless it's for a very special occasion. Reckon this is a pretty special occasion though. I found a great sketch from Sketch Saturday which solved my layout problem. I stamped Popcorn 3 times so I could 3d him.

I used :-

Image and sentiment :- Popcorn Bear.

Colouring :- Promarkers and Distress Inks (for edges).

DP :- Craft Creations and Wild Rose Studio.

Buttons, string, ribbon and 90 peeloff from stash.

Challenges I'm entering :-

Sketch Saturday :- Sketch..........

Passion for Promarkers Think of a number.

I'm quite pleased with how this turned out...for once. I took some pics and then realised that I'd forgotten to colour the grass lol! So I had to delete them and take more. Trust me. I've another three cards half made but I'd best check if there are any entries to comment on for my DTs and maybe have a wee look at my favourite blogs.

I'm a lot later sitting down tonight than I'd hoped. My daughter appeared for tea and to do her washing and then she wanted to make meringues so I had to "advise" her about that. I also had to wash the dishes. That might sound strange but I have a dishwasher and it's misbehaving. To say the least! My husband thought it was leaking so he hauled it out yesterday to check. It was! So he mopped up, found a wee hole in the hose and fixed it. Switched it on last night and nothing happened. So I had whole pile of washing this morning. The fridge-freezer in the kitchen has been leaking a bit now and then but he's convinced it was just ice so he removed a lot of ice from the bottom of it yesterday and fingers crossed it's ok. To complete his happiness yesterday he went into the garage and there was water all over the floor in front of the tumble drier!! Luckily it only needed emptied. I haven't been using it because the weather has been so nice but yesterday it rained so I put towels in it. Of course my daughter doesn't hang out washing because it wastes your clothes (???) and she uses the drier when she's out here washing. Silly me I should have remembered that it never occurs to her to empty the water out! At least I don't need a tumble drier or a fridge-freezer but Imight need a dishwasher. Fantastic!! I need to check out the sales.

Sorry to bore you girls especially since I should be doing something more useful lol.

I hope my Uncle Bill likes his card and I hope you like it too. If you could spare a minute to leave me a comment I'd be very grateful. I value the opinions of my fellow crafters. If I ask my husband he always says my cards are really nice! Which is nice of him but a bit biased don't you think?

See you all tomorrow I hope.

Totally Gorjuss 28 A Stitch or Two.

Good morning everyone, Saturday again and time for another challenge at Totally Gorjuss. This week we would like to see "a stitch or two." We would like to see some stitching on your card or project this week, either real or faux. I have been at the last minute again this week so my stitching is faux!

I used :-
Image :- Gorjuss Girl from Sugar Nellies.
DP :- MME pretty please.
Colouring :- Promarkers.
Flowers :- Martha Stewart punch using red card and DP plus a button and string bow.
Sentiment :- Craftwork Cards.
Ribbon and jewels from stash.
Nesties.
As you can see I am still loving red and if you check out my blog tomorrow you'll see even more red. Apologies for the squint photo. I was in a hurry to take a photo and get my card posted to the DT blog before it was too late lol!
I'm also entering a few challenges with this card :-
Die Cut Dreams :- Make your own flowers.
Passion for Promarkers :- Sketch plus handmade flowers.

If you've got a minute to spare I'd love to hear what you think of my card and I hope you'll want to pop over to the Totally Gorjuss blog to see the gorgeous cards my clever teamies have made.
If you feel like entering our challenge we'd love to see how you interpret our challenge this week. We all love to check out your blogs and don't forget there's a prize up for grabs and you could win it if you enter your new card or project with a link back to your post before next Saturday.

Monochrome Picnic.

Hi everyone. I was going to post this card last night but my broadband suddenly decided to let me have only local access. Criticism didn't help so in the end I had to give up! So I hope I'm not too late for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge which is monochrome, shades of brown this week. I couldn't think what to do at first as most of my PB stamps are hedgies, dogs, mice etc. Then I had an idea that I could stamp this image in Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink and add brown DP, flowers etc. Not sure if it's worked ok or not. I edged the DP and image and distressed round the image (very badly) with brushed corduroy DI too.

I'm a bit short of time now so I'll just tell you what I used :-

DP :- sorry no idea as it is double sided and there is no name on it.
Colouring :- Distress Ink. Promarkers (on the hedgie and mouse).
Sentiment and card candy :- Craftwork Cards.
Flowers :- not sure but might be Prima.
Cream lace from Quixotic Paperie and brown ribbon from stash.
Cream card from local paper mill.
I am also going to enter some more challenges:-
Passion for Promarkers - In the garden.
Crafty Creations - Distressing.
That's probably me for the day now. I need to finish a DT card but I also need to have my lunch and go to work! I was going to a crop tomorrow but my daughter is off to get the keys to her flat now so I think I am booked for tomorrow for uncrafty things. Lucky me.

Lazy Hedgie!

Well girls I've been a bit more productive today. Here I am with another card! I love Penny Black stamps but I don't always manage to enter the Penny Black Saturday challenge. This week I have made it!!

Ive never used this stamp before but I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. I found some papers that I had got in a TSV from QVC some time ago and the one with writing is just perfect for a Spring card. The check one is from the same set and has the same colours. I edged the Prima flowers with Promarker to match the flower in the image and added card candy from Craftwork Cards also coloured with Promarker. The sentiment is also from Craftwork Cards and the ribbon from my stash.

I'm also entering the following challenges :-

Charisma :- Spring.

Crafty Cardmakers :- Spring into Spring.

Passion for Promarkers :- Spring plus an animal.

Susie's Sassy Challenge :- Spring garden.

By the Cute and Girly :- Spring.

For some reason I'm quite pleased with this card lol!!! I love the image and I think the papers fit quite well. But let me know what you think, I'd be interested to hear what you think. I really like to know what you think so if you've got a minute to spare please leave me a little comment. It really makes my day to read what you think.

Totally Gorjuss 19 Mum.

Good morning everyone, and if Mr Blogger has been behaving this will be posted on Saturday morning. This week at Totally Gorjuss our theme is "Mum." As usual we are sponsored so there is a nice prize for you. This week it is some sparkly stuff from Meyer Imports.

This week I have coloured this beautiful Tilda with Promarkers. I think this might be the first time I haven't used a Gorjuss Girl for the Totally Gorjuss challenge lol! She's one of my favourite new Tildas and I think I might use her quite often. I've used Tulip Yellow and Baby pink promarker to fit the Passion for Promarkers challenge and I've also added some faux stitching. The gorgeous papers are from K & Co. These are some of my favourite papers, they are lovely colours and lots of them are glittered too. I used Distress Inks in Tattered Rose and Mustard Seed on all my edges, glittered Tildas dress and added these lovely pink pearls from Prima to fit the Spoon Full of Sugar challenge. I embossed some of my yellow paper with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder and this fits the Sophisticat challenge. Since the theme of the TG challenge this week is "Mum" it will also fit the Paperplay challenge. Oops nearly forgot to say that I followed the great sketch that Dawny P did for Papertake Weekly.

Hope you like! I'd really like to hear what you think. It really helps to know what other people think. So many of you entered our challenge last week that I was really struggling to get around all your blogs. If I didn't manage to leave a comment on your blog I'm really sorry and I'll try to do better next week. Not sure if I'll manage though as I have a family funeral next Thursday and it is over 3 hours drive away from us so I'll lose a whole day. Aunt Kate was the last of my late Father -in-law's sisters and the last of the family. She would have been 89 on Sunday coming so she's had a long, long life.

Anyway all that remains to say is have a nice weekend everyone and I'll be back tomorrow with my DT card for Just Cute Bears. I suppose I might manage back later to show you what I've done at the crop....if I manage to achieve much!!

Snowy Day Again.

Good afternoon girls from a very snowy part of Aberdeenshire! Very unexpected snow I might add. I went over to work, finished what I had to do and came home about 8.30. Just after 9.30 my daughter said "where did all that snow come from?" I hadn't even seen it!! Upstairs where I craft there are a couple of Velux windows but I hadn't even noticed what was happening. It snowed quite heavily for a while after that so there is quite a lot of snow now. It has stopped now but the sky looks very dark. I was supposed to go out tonight too! This morning it was very frosty and there had been no mention of snow in the weather forecast yesterday. Lucky it's my day off.

But now on to my card. I've used a lovely Tilda that has never seen ink before - only due to lack of time because she is really pretty isn't she?

Materials used:-

DP :- K&Co.

Colouring :- Promarkers and Precision pen for the faux stitching.

Flowers :- Prima.

Buttons, jewels and string coloured with Promarker to match, ribbons, stickles.

I am going to enter a few challenges with this card :-

One Stitch at a Time :- Stitching.

The Pink Elephant :- Ribbon.

Passion for Promarkers :- Any colours plus buttons and bows.

Sophisticat challenge :- Stitching.

Magnolia Down Under :- Buttons, flowers and bows.

Die Cut Dreams :- 3 DP, 2 different ribbons, 2 flowers and gems.

Friday Sketchers :- Sketch.

Crafty Creations :- Stitching.

Well I'm off to have my lunch now and then get on with my DT cards for next week. If you have snow keep warm and safe.

Kat xx

PS Don't forget to enter my blog candy, it finishes next Thursday.

Chocolate - Yummy.

The title of the post is maybe not entirely accurate because as usual I've been trying to combine challenges lol! I wanted to do the Passion for Promarkers challenge which provided this great sketch with a theme of love. I thought the Creative Inspirations Wednesday challenge blog with it's anniversary theme would also fit this card. But for some reason instead of making something obvious like pink, red, silver or gold I decided to use brown and cream. This fits the theme of Hot Chocolate which fits two challenges :- Quixotic and Simon Says Stamp.

I'm afraid I have no idea where the DP is from as I have had it for a long time but I know it is all the same brand! I embossed a piece of cream card in the Cuttlebug with the Heart Blocks folder. Unfortunately you can hardly see the pattern as only the corners stick out under the paper above. The lovely Forever Friends image is coloured with Promarkers and I used gold stickles for the champagne popping out of the bottle.

After I finished the card I thought yuk. When I came back to it with a cup of coffee it seemed a bit better but I still think I've probably made a wrong choice of colours. Too late now, it's done!!
Here I am late at night as usual so I am just going to post this, enter the challenges and go to bed. Hopefully I can catch up with you tomorrow. It has been a bit of a short evening. I phoned my DH to check if I would get up the hill now that there is a bit of a thaw. He said it was fine, he had got up the hill but the road was now very uneven so you were all over the place. Before I got out of work he phoned back to say that his van had got stuck in the (short) track out to our house and would have to dig the van out. So I got back and left my car at my neighbour's house. Because the snow is thawing you just sink into it and there is still quite a lot of it. Think it may take a while to get black roads where we are. So by the time tea was made and eaten it was well after 7pm. Never mind at least the journey was a bit less horrendous than it has been.
See you tomorrow, take care and keep safe and warm.

Oh Christmas Tree!

Another post! I'm having a better day today for crafting. I made this card tonight to hopefully fit a few challenges. I used the sketch from the Truly Scrumptious challenge. They also want a sparkly flourish so I cut out a Sizzix flourish from silver glitter card and added some jewels for even more sparkle. I used the gorgeous MME Signature DP which I love. I used Promarkers to colour the sweet image from Sugar Nellies. I cut out the image with nesties and distressed the edge with Vintage Photo Distress Inks. I used a sentiment from Craftwork Cards and finished off with a Martha Stewart snowflake and a jewel.

I hope to enter the following challenges:-
Secret Crafter :- Christmas Trees.
Passion for Promarkers :- Vintage and any colour of Promarkers.
Truly Scrumptious :- Sketch plus sparkly flourish.
ABC :- I for indigo - papers.
Creatalicious Challenges :- Snowflakes and lots of sparkle.

I hope you like it! Now late as usual I'm going to do some ironing. Hope you all had a lovely weekend. Can't believe that's it almost over for another week. Time seems to be going rather quickly at the moment - or is it just me?

I won't be able to do anything tomorrow as I'm at work all day and then I have a Guild meeting. Since it is St. Andrew's Day we are having entertainment and soup and trifle. It probably won't be a late night so at least I might be able to start another card.

Penny Black :- Christmas for the guys.

Ho! Ho! Ho!

I've not had a busy day making cards today! I don't know where the time went.....I think I was catching up on blogs this afternoon and then my daughter phoned. So I didn't start making this card till after teatime. I think I can enter a few challenges with it though so that is always something. All in all I haven't had a very productive weekend. At least I am not out any evening next week ....as far as I know!!

I used the great sketch from Whimsy. It's a great sketch, easy to use but effective and you can dress it up a bit. I used a House Mouse image and on the House Mouse challengeyou have to have an aperture. Try as I might I can not get a photo to show that House Mouse is behind an aperture. I cut out the red frame using a scalloped nestie and a plain one and put it on top of the image with tiny sticky pads. On the photo it just looks as if I've layered the image on a piece of red card! So I hope you can take my word for it. The image has been coloured with Promarkers so it fits the Passion for Promarkers challenge for animals. I think it is cute and fuzzy to fit the Stamp Something. At least I think it is! Last of all Bizzy Becs Creatalicious challenges wants you to use only scraps of DP and add handmade flowers. Well I certainly used scraps of DP on this card. I've made a few cards with these papers so I have lots of scraps and fortunately I had some that were big enough for this card!! I have text on this card so it fits the challenge for Saturday Spotlight and One Stop Craft.

I used:-

Nesties, Martha Stewart punches, EK success punch and another punch. MME wonderful winter DP - lovely and glittery. Brads and jewel from stash.

I think that's about it. As usual I have left it a bit late to do my ironing LOL! Maybe I'll just do the things I need for tomorrow.

Friday!

Good morning girls - now that Mr Blogger has stopped being a pain! First of all I just want to show you a sympathy card I made for one of my elderly customers who has just lost her hysband. Kath was showing us some cards she had made with some new Hero Arts stamps she had bought from The Glitter Pot. So I had to have a look! I didn't have to buy any but of course I did lol!! Since this was for an elderly lady and her family I have kept it very simple.

I embossed a piece of Coredinations whitewash with the script folder and edged it with the same brown I used to stamp the sentiment. I added some pink to the other side of the card....I know it would have been simpler if I had used pink card! I added a piece of white edged with the MS scalloped lace punch and layered the sentiment on top. The flowers were coloured with Promarkers. The sentiment was also edged with a brown memento ink pad.

The next card is one I made following the sketch from the Penny Black Saturday Challenge. Isn't this a cute stamp from Penny Black?
I did this close-up to show that I have embossing on my card for the Whimsy Challenge. I realise now I could have entered the previous card as it has more obvious embossing on it lol!

Can you see my embossing?

The other challenges I am entering are:-
Die Cut Dreams - Winter Wonderland.
Passion for Promarkers -Poppy and Forest Green. (Well how could I resist a challenge when one of the colours is Poppy?)
DP - Bo Bunny Tis the Season.
Nesties, Promarkers, EK Success punches, stickles and DecoArt Snow Writer. Brads from stash.
Since Mr Blogger was being a bit unhelpful earlier this morning I need to go and check out the Totally Gorjuss blog as we are due to post our second challenge today. I hope some of you will want to join us again this week.

I should be back later with my DT card!

Fed Up Working!

Thursday evening.

I am so fed up working full time. I still have to get through Friday, Saturday and Monday before I get a morning off and even then I have to do housework before we disappear under a pile of dog hair. My Labrador is very considerately casting and she is a very big dog lol!!

I used the lovely sketch from the Penny Black Saturday Challenge to make this card. I coloured the cute Penny Black image with Promarkers. I was inspired to use these colours of Basic Grey wisteria papers by the photo on the Basic Grey challenge. I added some faux stitching and some faux lace - I used paper lace. The flowers were cut out from scraps of the DP using Martha Stewart punches. Brads were added to two of the flowers and a button to the other. I used a tag punch for the sentiment.Ribbon, brads and button are from my stash.

I hope to enter a few challenges with this card!

Basic Grey:- Inspiration from photo - inspired by the colours in the photo.
Penny Black Saturday Challenge:- Sketch.
Passion for Promarkers:- Polka dots and any colours.
Paper Maniacs:- Ribbon.
creativecardcrew.blogspot.com/:- 2 papers, 3 flowers, 2 brads, 1 button and 1 ribbon.
Papertake Weekly:- Faking it - faux stitching.
Creative Inspiration:- Animals.
Paperplay:- Tag it.
Charisma Cardz:- Flowers.
Hope these are ok.
It is now Friday evening and I hope I am in time to enter the two Saturday challenges after all this work!

Second Post today.

Me again! I used this great sketch from A Spoon Full of Sugar to make this card. The lovely fairy is from Sugar Nellies, isn't she cute? I coloured her with my Promarkers and inked round the square with sandstone Promarker. I added star shaped jewels to her dress and hair. The stars on her wand and belt are stickled and I covered her wings with a Sakura stardust gel pen. I added some gel pen to her dress and belt too. Not too much bling I hope lol!! I made the flowers from scraps of the three papers with 3 sizes of EK Success punches. Then I inked round the petals with a Promarker and added a brad to each. Nearly forgot the DP is the lovely wild asparagus from MME.Hope you like her! I was quite surprised to make two cards yesterday evening. It's wonderful how sometimes it all comes together and you can make a card in no time and other times you spend ages trying to find the right image and papers and all the extra little bits you want to add!

Challenges for this card:-

Passion for Promarkers:- Sandstone and blue pearl.
A Spoon Full of Sugar:- Sketch.
Creative Card Crew:- Fairy nice day.
Paper Blooms:- Bling.
Stamp Something:- Favourite embellishments - flowers.

I'm off to post this now and maybe get an update on blogs and challenges. What I really ought to do is finish my ironing and phone my Auntie to see how her birthday went. She's fantastic for 93. I hope if I have to get really old that I'm like her. I don't think she crochets now but she still knits and does Sudoku and crosswords and gets out a lot and lives by herself. Not to mention if you phone her you can be on the phone for about an hour.

Have a nice evening and I'm off to enter some challenges!

Some More Challenges.

Good afternoon girls, I have been very naughty this morning. I only meant to sit down for a wee while and think about what I was going to do for this week's Whiff of Joy challenge and look at the time now!! I had a few ideas about what other challenges I could fit in. But it kind of snowballed. Now I have no housework done and I need to go to work at 1.45.

Well as I said this is for the Whiff of Joy challenge and I used the lovely sketch from Friday Sketchers and their optional colours blue and orange. Now orange is definitely not my colour but I thought I would give it a go anyway and see what happened! The sweet image is coloured with Promarkers and i went over the flowers in her hand and hair with a Sakura glitter gel pen. Probably not obvious. Not obvious either but the pale blue ribbon is very shimmery and gorgeous. Nesties were used as usual and the jewels, ribbon and buttons are from my stash. The plain blue
Not sure that the next piccie adds anything but it does show you my wonky sewing. I added stitching for the La La Lands Wednesday blog which I discovered has already closed - on Sunday 30th!! Guess I missed it then. Never mind I think the card still fits a few challenges lol.

So I think this card fits the following challenges:-
Friday Sketchers:- sketch plus blue and orange.
Whiff of Joy:- bling.
Crafty Cardmakers:- complementary colours - blue and orange.
Passion for Promarkers:- any colours and girly and glittery.
Cupcake Craft:- 3 buttons, 2 papers and 1 ribbon.
Whimsy:- touchy feely - bling, buttons and ribbon.
Pile it on:- round -buttons, DP and swiss dots.
365 cards:- 3 shades of blue.
I'm just about breathless after listin all those challenges!!!
Best go and post this now and see if I can have some lunch before I go to work. Hope you enjoy the rest of what is a lovely day here. Much nicer than yesterday when some people round here had a day off for the Bank Holiday.
Maybe see you later and please let me know what you think of this card or any other one that you may like (or otherwise).

A few challenges.

Good evening everyone, here are a couple of cards I made for a few challenges. The one above has been made using the great sketch from Just Magnolia. I coloured one of my favourite Tildas with Promarkers using the colours for Passion for Promarkers. It also contains circles to fit the ABC challenge. I used nesties for cutting shapes as usual. I used my new retro flower punches by EK success and added a brad. The colours for PfP are lilac, lavender. amethyst and aubergine and it might not look like it from the photo but I used all 4 in this card!! I also stickled her wing though it might not be obvious lol. The DP is from Basic Grey and I added some jewels from my stash.

The second flower was made using the lovely sketch from Friday Sketchers. I coloured the Forever Friends image with Promarkers. The DP I used is from MME and Basic Grey. The Prima flowers are from my stash and I added brads and spacers from my stash. I also added a cute little pram charm and a ribbon from my stash. This card also fits the Stamping for the weekend challenge to use pink and grey and the Cute Card Thursday challenge for New Beginnings. Nesties have been used for this card too as usual.

This is all I've made today due to the fact that I spent a while footering - Scottish friends will understand this! - to explain to others - I was dithering about what papers to use !! I also have to admit to messing around going round blogs this morning.

Hope you like, feel free to tell me if you don't!

Kat x

Friday morning - I changed the first photo as it did not show the shading on the dress or the stickles. Not sure it is much better - but I tried!

Five Challenges!

Hi everyone me again. This has taken longer to finish than I had hoped. The decision to add bows to the buttons for the Pollycraft challenge was maybe not my best idea! I used some of my cross stitch thread which is just the right colour but quite awkward to tie in a little bow lol.
I used the lovely sketch from Friday Sketchers, the colours from Passion for Promarkers - cocoa and rose pink. The colours also fit Whiff of Joy plus this lovely bear with present that I won from the Whiff of Joy blog hop. Pollycraft is buttons and bows and ABC is anything goes plus animals.
I am quite pleased about managing to fit in five challenges in one card. I used Basic Grey lemonade papers and as usual my nesties were used for the circles. Buttons are from my stash. After I took the photos I used my Sakura glitter gel pen on the bow on the present! I didn't redo the photo as with my photography skills you would not have seen it anyway.
Don't think I am going to get another card done now as I have to meet my friends at 1pm. I really wanted to do the Just Magnolia challenge too. Oh well you can't do everything, can you?
Have a nice day and thanks for looking,
Kat

PfPand Whiff of Joy

I'm a bit late for PfP this week but since I was away at the weekend and had to work all day yesterday at least I have an excuse LOL. I'm not at all happy with this card. I love the image and the MME papers but I have used completely the wrong colour of plain card for layering! That will teach me to check out everything before I stick it all down. I've used the scketch from Passion for Promarkers and the colours Cool Aqua and Pastel Pink. The Whiff of Joy challenge requires lots of floral so I think both the papers I have used are floral plus there are flowers in the image and I've added some flowers from my stash just for good measure and I've just noticed that the Spoon Full of Sugar challenge is also flowers. Hat trick!!
Now I really need to do housework after working full time last week. What a horrible thought! I need to find an excuse to do something else - think I can do some ironing too and catch up on my recorded programmes.

Have a nice day, Kat x
