First of all apologies for not announcing the winners last night. I could make an excuse and say I was really busy but the truth is I forgot! Snoopy at Christmas.

I was crafting with my friend yesterday afternoon and I managed to make one whole card! In my defense I had to let the dogs out to play, check what they were doing upstairs in my craft area while we were crafting downstairs in the kitchen and then take my home shopping in from the Tesco van!! And I did manage to get another one made later.

This is the first one I made. I'm still enjoying making white cards for Christmas.

Good morning everyone. Hope you are all looking forward to a relaxing weekend. I'm off to a crop after work today. Usually the same people go every month and some of us only see each other at the crop so it's nice to catch up.

It's a Girl.

Hi everyone, I was going to do this a lot earlier today but I couldn't get a decent photo. Not that good yet but better than my earlier attempts!

I've already made a shaped card as my DT card for Totally Gorjuss but I couldn't resist doing another one for Penny Black at Allsorts where they don't want to see square or rectangular cards. They're also having a DT call. I'd like to put my name forward for that! I don't think I've got any chance of making the DT but it won't hurt to try. I love my Penny Blacks and have lots I've not even used yet!! I was looking for something this afternoon and I found a carrier with a couple of Penny Black stamps and a Hero Arts cling stamp. No idea how long they've been mislaid. Oh dear!!

So here's my card. It's just a little titchy one as I made it with circle nesties.

Birthday Candy.

Today is my birthday and anniversary so I thought I'd post some candy. And what happens? Mr Blogger's been misbehaving!! But here it is at last.

Hi everyone, well as you can see I didn't do my ironing. Well not yet anyway. I made a quick card instead. And after tea I made chocolate brownies. New recipe so I hope they turn out ok!

Well I thought I was never going to get this photo uploaded. I've been trying for ages and Mr Blogger was being really awkward. Out here in the country my broadband connection is very slow at the best of times but today it's just a nightmare! Anyway fingers crossed I'll get this posted safely.

Isn't that cute? I love the House Mouse and Gruffies images they're really fun images. This is such a big image that I didn't want to add much to the card I'm just letting the image take centre stage.

Now I'd best give in and do my ironing. I like to iron the day I wash and besides my work trousers are in the pile lol!

Less is More 14 White on White.

Hi everyone from a very wet Aberdeenshire.

When I checked out my favourite challenges yesterday I noticed that the challenge over at Less is More this week is White on White. I love white on white but I'm not sure I'm very good at it! Other people do it so well though and Chrissie and Mandi's samples are just stunning. I had a couple of ideas though so I may be back with another card when I get it finished.

I love to do embossing when I do white on white or white with a touch of colour. I thought a Christmas card might work well as WoW. Not sure it turned out as well as I'd hoped though! Not even sure it looks white. On my screen it looks a bit blue. It's definitely all white though even the little pearls in the snowflakes.

I've been watching ER from the beginning as I didn't see it till it had been on for years.

Rain seems to be off again so no excuse for him, after all the dogs don't mind what the weather's like.

Christmas in May.

Hi everyone, looks like I'm still not very good at posting even with 2 days off in the same week. At least I have something to show you as well as a DT card. I've been quite good this week. Usually I'm trying to make my DT card and get it posted on the DT blog by Thursday. This week it was all done and dusted on Monday. Net got such a shock she nearly fainted. She said she was only kidding!!

So yesterday I decided to make a Christmas card when my friend came over to craft and I even made another one later. We both used the same stamp which is one of her favourite Penny Black ones.

Here's the first one I made.

Hope you like! I've not really achieved much today. Can't even blame the weather as it's not been so nice today. We have had some sun but much hazier than it has been and quite a cold wind. A few of us go and we always have a lovely chat too. It's nice to be able to socialise as well as make cards.

Love is in the air!

Hi everyone, hope you're all enjoying the lovely weather this weekend. It's been lovely here in Aberdeenshire for a while now. I was lucky enough to have a day off on Friday but the only time I saw the sun was when I took the dogs for their walks as I was watching The Royal Wedding. It was really amazing, I loved it. Catherine was a beautiful bride and everything just went so well. I loved it when they left Buckingham Palace in the Aston Martin. Not sure why I thought I'd get anything done on Friday! Eventually in the evening I managed to make this card. Always useful to have a wedding card in your box.

I was quite pleased that I managed to make something after all on my day off and even more pleased that it all came together quite quickly.

I'm looking forward to another day off tomorrow for the May Day Bank holiday. If I hadn't had to work yesterday morning I'd have been off from Thursday till Tuesday afternoon. 5 days in a row would have been nice but since we weren't doing anything on Saturday it wasn't worth losing a day's holiday just to have a morning off. Hope the weather's still nice tomorrow!
