Penny Black and more!

Hello everyone. It feels like ages since I made anything but that's probably because it is ages. I really wanted to enter the Penny Black Saturday challenge. I love Penny Black images, no matter what new images I buy I still go back to them. It's still really nice here in Aberdeenshire. Can't believe how nice it's been for days and days now. I even took these photos outside!


And here's the inside. I don't usually do the inside except for a printed insert but it's really nice to make the effort sometimes.

I used:-

Image :- Penny Black slapstick - hedgehog birthday.

DP :- Basic Grey Kioshi.

Colouring :- Promarkers and Spica Glitter gel pens.

Sentiment :- Craftwork Cards.

Flowers :- EK Success retro flower punch.

Lace and pearls from stash.

Flower charm included in candy I won from lil daffodil - thanks Fiona.

I quite like this card except for the candle light! I think I've overdone the colour there. Think I've used the wrong shade of yellow and then added Spica gel pen in yellow - paler would have been better lol!

Now that I've got this made I think it fits a few challenges :-

Papertake Weekly :- Say it with flowers...

Creative Inspirations Wednesday challenge :- For a child.

ABC :- U for unused stash. The lace because I'm trying not to use it lol!!

Crafty Creations :- Celebrate.

A Spoon Full of Sugar :- Cute and Girly.

Charisma Cardz :- 3D.

Phew I'll need to go and have a coffee now - I'm exhausted typing out all these challenges lol! I don't usually combine as many challenges as this but somehow they just all seem to fit. I usually take a note of my favourite challenges to see if any of them go together but only ever do a few of them. This must be a record for me as I usually can't be bothered searching around.

Well I'm off to make that coffee and think about my DT cards.
