Just Cute Bears #6 Mint and Brown.

Good morning everyone, it's Sunday again and time for another challenge from Just Cute Bears. This week we would like you to make a card or some other project of your choice using the colours mint and brown.

We are very lucky to be sponsored again by Cuddly Buddly. This week the prize is another lovely stamp. Isn't this a lovely image and just perfect for your Easter cards.

Here is my card in mint and brown. I checked out my Promarkers first to reassure myself that I was using the right colours lol! I coloured the lovely Forever Friends image with Promarkers and edged it with brown. I made the spots on the hat by using a lighter shade than the main shade. I kept the card simple as I was making it for my husband's birthday on Thursday and I don't think men like flowers or glitter or anything "fancy." I just added some card candy coloured to match with Promarker. I also coloured the string I added to the buttons to match. The DP is the lovely Bloom and Grow from MME.

I think that's all there is to say about this card. I'm looking forward to coming round your blogs this week and seeing your lovely new cards and projects. Last week there was so much beautiful work using Lilac, my favourite colour lol! I really enjoyed seeing what you had made.
Enjoy your Sunday,
Kat xx

Busy Saturday.

Good evening girls. Today I went to a crop at my local craft shop. I took the day off this time so I could go all day. Sometimes I just go at 1pm after work. I was quite pleased with myself as I had one card almost completely prepared and one fairly prepared. I also took some beer mats to cover as I wanted to make a hanging with Oliver's name on it. Unfortunately I didn't take any papers for this but I managed to find some there so they are covered on both sides at least. I still have to cut out the letters of his name so maybe I'll get my Cricut out tomorrow! By then it was 2.30 and to my horror I discovered I had nothing else to do. My cards just needed little final touches as I did not take any card candy or jewels or flowers with me. I thought I had some House Mouse decoupage in my bag but no it was at home. So I just had a browse around the shop and had a look at some scrapbooking magazines and a coffee till it was time to go. I didn't buy much as I am saving myself for the SECC next Sunday......can't wait! But I did buy a gorgeous new set of MME glittered papers - Penny Lane.

I decided to make a Baby congratulations card to add to the ones I have. I thought lilac and aqua would do for a boy or a girl so that would be handy as whether you have pink or blue it's always the other one you need. My friend gave me the card candy as it is exactly the same colour as my backing card. I have lilac but it is quite pale. The papers are from the lilac patchwork collection from Cuddly Buddly. I printed another sheet of the stripey one this morning but....and there's always a but I realised when I looked at it at the crop that the original was printed on pearlescent paper and the new one was on plain white paper. So I had to finish that this evening. I also added the flowers from Wild Orchid Craftsand aqua! leaves. Not a very good photo unfortunately.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:-
House Mouse :- Multi-fold card.
My second card is a thank you card using a "Bear" stamp from Hobby Art Ltd. I love these bears, they are really cute. I've use more paper from the patchwork collection from Cuddly Buddly. I think this is a nice fresh paper and makes a nice simple card. I finished off with some card candy coloured with Promarker to match and another rose from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I thought this photo was ok until I uploaded it and then realised that it's a bit squint. Too late now though! I'm entering this card in the following challenges:-

Creative Inspirations challenge :- Thank you.

Sassy Designs by Susie :- Lilac and aqua.

Truly Scrumptious :- Sketch.

I think that's all for now. I'm off to check out the entries over at Totally Gorjuss.

See you all tomorrow. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Totally Gorjuss 19 Mum.

Good morning everyone, and if Mr Blogger has been behaving this will be posted on Saturday morning. This week at Totally Gorjuss our theme is "Mum." As usual we are sponsored so there is a nice prize for you. This week it is some sparkly stuff from Meyer Imports.

This week I have coloured this beautiful Tilda with Promarkers. I think this might be the first time I haven't used a Gorjuss Girl for the Totally Gorjuss challenge lol! She's one of my favourite new Tildas and I think I might use her quite often. I've used Tulip Yellow and Baby pink promarker to fit the Passion for Promarkers challenge and I've also added some faux stitching. The gorgeous papers are from K & Co. These are some of my favourite papers, they are lovely colours and lots of them are glittered too. I used Distress Inks in Tattered Rose and Mustard Seed on all my edges, glittered Tildas dress and added these lovely pink pearls from Prima to fit the Spoon Full of Sugar challenge. I embossed some of my yellow paper with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder and this fits the Sophisticat challenge. Since the theme of the TG challenge this week is "Mum" it will also fit the Paperplay challenge. Oops nearly forgot to say that I followed the great sketch that Dawny P did for Papertake Weekly.

Hope you like! I'd really like to hear what you think. It really helps to know what other people think. So many of you entered our challenge last week that I was really struggling to get around all your blogs. If I didn't manage to leave a comment on your blog I'm really sorry and I'll try to do better next week. Not sure if I'll manage though as I have a family funeral next Thursday and it is over 3 hours drive away from us so I'll lose a whole day. Aunt Kate was the last of my late Father -in-law's sisters and the last of the family. She would have been 89 on Sunday coming so she's had a long, long life.

Anyway all that remains to say is have a nice weekend everyone and I'll be back tomorrow with my DT card for Just Cute Bears. I suppose I might manage back later to show you what I've done at the crop....if I manage to achieve much!!

DT Call for By the Cute and Girly.

I see that By the Cute and Girly are having a DT call. It is open until 1st March and is for crafters of all kinds. Not just cardmakers but people who knit, cross stitch etc are welcome to apply. Click here to pop over to their blogspot for full details.

Sweet Magnolia.

Good morning everyone from a very wet and slushy Aberdeenshire. It's really horrible here today. Sleety and windy. The snow is rapidly disappearing here. As the crow flies we are only 2 or 3 miles away from the North Sea so we have not had actual snow falling this last couple of days. We're surrounded by fields so all I can see are the remains of the snow and water everywhere....yuk. Even my Labrador wasn't keen on going for a walk today.

But on to my card! I have been so busy trying to comment on the entries for my 2 DT challenges that I haven't done much in the way of crafting! It's very time consuming but it's lovely to see other people's work. I made this card last night just because I wanted to enter Just Magnolia. Haven't they given us a lovely sketch this week. I made it into an easel card so it also fits the Magnolia Down Under challenge.

I think it also fits the following challenges:-

Stamp Something :- A Touch of Spring.

Magical Crafts :- Something for Mum.

Basic Grey :- Maroon, lemon and pink - the lovely Lemonade paper.

Everybody Art Challenge :- Easel card.

Secret Crafter :- Mother's Day.

I also used - Card candy and sentiment from Craftwork Cards, gorgeous roses from Wild Orchid Crafts, Promarkers, raffia lace and ribbon. Oops nearly forgot I sprayed the flowers with Glimmer Mist.

I think that's about it. Now I need to go and make a card for my husband's birthday.....which is today! My son-in-law's birthday was yesterday and he got his card and present on time but I kind of ran out of time to make hubby's card. Possibly because I made this card last night lol! I won't be able to post his card till the weekend as I'm intending to make his card one of my DT cards so you'll be able to see it on Sunday.

See you all later if I don't get too caught up with my DT work.

Cute House Mouse!

Good evening girls, I think I'm on a bit of a roll today. Three posts.....and no ironing. Oh dear I need to at least iron my trousers for work tomorrow!

Need to be quick then lol!! I wanted to make a card for the Simon Says Stamp Challenge as I've been doing their blog hop and to have a chance of winning the prize you need to enter the challenge. This week they want 3 different types of embellishments, 2 patterned papers and 1 image. The DT were using House Mouse images so I decided that I would use one of mine too. Isn't Monica with Blankey really sweet. I love House Mouse they are all so cute! I'm still using my Cuddly Buddly papers. the stripey one is from the patchwork collection and the floral one is a freebie that I had almost forgotten I had. I used an MS punch for the scalloped edges and embossed some more of the lilac card in my Cuttlebug. I found this gorgeous flower in my stash. My three embellishments are ribbon, jewels and the flower. The sketch I used is from Mojo Monday and it's a great one, really easy to use.

I think that's all from me. I'm off to iron.....lucky me. Tomorrow I need to get commenting on the Totally Gorjuss challenge entries, so far we have got an encouraging number this week. I should be out tomorrow night but that depends on the weather as the speaker might not fancy coming out in the current weather conditions.

My blog candy is still on offer if anyone fancies a shot. I've found some flowers to add and I'm trying to be brave and have a look at my ribbons lol!

Kat xx

Blue for a Boy!

Good afternoon everyone. I hope the weather is not too bad where you are. Here it is very cold but it has been a beautiful sunny day. Would be even better if the ground was not covered with snow and ice lol!

This week I need to make male cards for my hubbby and son-in-law. I made a very quick one for my son-in-law this afternoon as Ineed to post it tomorrow for Wednesday. At least it would have been quick but when I picked it up to take a photo of it I realised I had stuck the gingham panel - and of course the image and sentiment - in the wrong places. So I had to make it into an easel card. Oh well at least it's finished now, nothing else to do. The doggy, which came from an Inkadinkado clear set of stamps, reminded me of their daft Labrador Missy. The paws are from the same set. I've been dying to use the ticket stamp from Hero Arts so this was the perfect chance. This lovely DP is from the blue patchwork set from Cuddly Buddly. I love these papers, I used the purple set already this weekend and I also have pink! As I am keeping this card nice and plain and simple, I don't think men appreciate bows and flowers and jewels, I finished by adding some card candy coloured with Promarker from Craftwork Cards.

Not much else to say girls except I hope he likes it. I'm feeling quite creative today so maybe I can get something else planned before I need to make tea. Just the two of us tonight as daughter is working till 10pm so we can eat quite early and I can have an evening of crafting! Well apart of having to iron and go online and find a birthday present for my son-in-law!

I think I can enter a few challenges with this card too:-

Sketch and Stash :- Sketch and I used some lovely new stamps.
Totally Papercrafts :- Lots of spots.
Papertake Weekly :- Checks/gingham.
Allsorts :- Tag, ticket or label.
Cupcake :- Keep it simple.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Kat xx

PS don't forget to enter my candy. I'm going to see what else I can find when I get a few minutes to spare.

Lilac-time.

Good morning everyone and I hope you have been having a lovely relaxing weekend with lots of time to craft. It's time for another challenge at Just Cute Bears. And this one is right up my street as this week we are asking you to use the colour Lilac. My favourite colour lol!

We are sponsored again by the lovely Kim at Cuddly Buddly. The prize this week is another lovely stamp. I think I could make good use of this stamp! If you pop over to Kim's online shop I'm sure you'll find something you want. As well as rubber stamps there are digi downloads of images and papers. I have used one of the download papers this week from the Patchwork of Papers purple collection. These papers are so gorgeous that I didn't know what to use first.

Anyway here is the stamp and wouldn't you love to win it? Well it's simple all you need to do is make a lilac card....easy!

So here's my card. This week I have made a very simple card. I had a bit of a look around for a sketch to use. But then my friend phoned and we were chatting for almost an hour!! Well by that time I really needed to get my card made so I could take a photo in daylight on Saturday. So I grabbed a few things and when I put them together roughly I thought that this layout was simple but maybe quite effective. What do you think? I think it shows off this cute Penny Black bear and these gorgeous roses from Wild Orchid Crafts quite well. I coloured the image with Promarkers as usual and cut it out with nesties. The sentiment and card candy are from Craftwork Cards. I had to colour the card candy with Promarker too as I had none the shade I wanted. The greenery was cut with a Nellie Snellen punch. I think the raffia lace came from Quixotic Paperie, another favourite online shop! I finished by adding some Glimmer Mist to the roses, not sure if you can see that though

I hope you can find time to visit my talented teamies' blogs to see what they have made. I know they have all made beautiful cards this week and we would all love it if you tell us what you think of our creations!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend and as usual I'm looking forward to seeing all your wonderful projects. It's great to see how you interpret our challenge every week.

Flower Power.

Good morning everyone it's Saturday again and time for another challenge from Totally Gorjuss. This week it's flower power and we'd like to see flowers on your projects. As many as you like, in fact the more the better!

I'm in a kind of lilac mood just now as you can see. But then my blog is called Lilackat lol!

As you can see I've used a sweet Gorjuss Girl and made my card using the lovely sketch from Paperplay. Do you like my DP? It's from Cuddly Buddly and it's a download. It's all so pretty I didn't know which ones to use. She's coloured with Promarkers and I've added some shading round the edge of the image with milled lavender Distress Inks. I finished by adding some of my gorgeous new flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. I love these new flowers they are so pretty.

I hope lots of you will be able to join us this week. We're really please about how many of you joined us last week in the "lurve" challenge. We have a great prize for you again this week. This time we are sponsored by Crafters Companion who are giving the lucky winner a voucher for £10. Apart from their own products they sell a wide range of products from other manufacturers and their online shop is always worth a look.

Snowy Day Again.

Good afternoon girls from a very snowy part of Aberdeenshire! Very unexpected snow I might add. I went over to work, finished what I had to do and came home about 8.30. Just after 9.30 my daughter said "where did all that snow come from?" I hadn't even seen it!! Upstairs where I craft there are a couple of Velux windows but I hadn't even noticed what was happening. It snowed quite heavily for a while after that so there is quite a lot of snow now. It has stopped now but the sky looks very dark. I was supposed to go out tonight too! This morning it was very frosty and there had been no mention of snow in the weather forecast yesterday. Lucky it's my day off.

But now on to my card. I've used a lovely Tilda that has never seen ink before - only due to lack of time because she is really pretty isn't she?

Materials used:-

DP :- K&Co.

Colouring :- Promarkers and Precision pen for the faux stitching.

Flowers :- Prima.

Buttons, jewels and string coloured with Promarker to match, ribbons, stickles.

I am going to enter a few challenges with this card :-

One Stitch at a Time :- Stitching.

The Pink Elephant :- Ribbon.

Passion for Promarkers :- Any colours plus buttons and bows.

Sophisticat challenge :- Stitching.

Magnolia Down Under :- Buttons, flowers and bows.

Die Cut Dreams :- 3 DP, 2 different ribbons, 2 flowers and gems.

Just Cute Bears #4 Jane's Sketch.

Good morning everyone. It's week 4 at Just Cute Bears and this week we have a great sketch from the very talented Jane. I loved working with this sketch, it was really easy to use and you can always add extra bits an pieces if you want to jazz it up. And of course you can turn it round to suit yourself, as long as we can still see the basic sketch.

We are sponsored again this week by Kim at Cuddly Buddly. You really must check out Kim's online shop, I love her own stamps and papers but she also has lots of other goodies.

This is the prize, isn't it gorgeous?

I hope you can join us again this week, I've really enjoyed visiting your blogs and seeing your lovely creations. As usual the closing time for this challenge is Saturday 20th February at 6pm (GMT).

For this card I've used the lovely Annie's Heart stamp from Cuddly Buddly and I coloured it with Promarkers. I also edged the flowers, the image and the sentiment with Promarker and added some Spica glitter gel pen to the middle of her bow. The lovely DP is from K&Co, the flowers are from Hero Arts and I finished with some brads and jewels from my stash.

Totally Gorjuss 17 - Lurve!

Good morning girls and here is my DT card for Totally Gorjuss this week. Our theme this week is "Lurve" and I hope you think this fits the bill! This week we are sponsored by The Hobby House.

I've managed to fit in a few hearts between the hearts on her dress and boots and the heart charm with an arrow through it lol! I used Promarkers to colour the sweet image, the card candy and the edges of some white roses. I used my new Nellie Snellen punch to cut out some greenery for the roses. My DP is DCWV and I added some ribbon, raffia ribbon and jewels from my stash. I cut out a tag with my tag punch and edged it with Distress Inks in milled lavender before finishing with stickles. I also added Distress Inks to my DP and the image. The hearts on her dress, boots and in her hair are coloured with Spica glitter gel pen. As you will realise when you see tomorrow's DT card for Just Cute Bears I am having a bit of a lilac week lol!

Hope you like, leave me a comment and let me know if you want.
I'm also going to enter a few challenges with this card. I was going to enter the Secret Crafter challenge till I realised that it would be finished before I posted this card. Pity because it is tones of one colour plus white and that is what this card is.
Anyway the challenges I am entering are:-
The Pink Elephant :- Valentine.
Papertake Weekly :- Sketch.
Quixotic :- Tag it.
Die Cut Dreams :- Have a heart.
Pile it on :- To the one I love.
I think that's all now. I'm looking forward to visiting your blogs to see what you've made for this challenge. We had some amazing entries last week for our sketch challenge. You are all so talented, I love to see your lovely creations. Hope you can find time to visit my very talented teamies and leave us all some love.
Enjoy your weekend.

Blog candy coming soon.

Hi girls, I seem to have been a bit busy for a few weeks now. Between work and getting my DT cards done and commenting on entries I don't know where the time has gone!!

Anyway I'm planning some blog candy as soon as I can get a photo done. My hits have now reached almost 6,500 although that is really probably about 12,000 as I was at between 5 and 6,000 last year when my counter suddenly jumped to about 11,000 and I had to re-set it!! I've had some mini candy giveaways but I've been meaning to do a proper one for a while now. I'll try to work out the details and post it tomorrow.
Enjoy your weekend girls and I'll see you tomorrow with my DT card for Totally Gorjuss.

Big Flower!

Good evening everyone, I'm a bit late in the evening with this one but I wanted to enter the Creative Inspirations Wednesday challenge which is for a project using pink and cream.

I'm not sure why I added another photo because I think you can probably see the layering in the first photo lol! In real life the card is not as pale as it looks here and the buttons match the DP from K&Co and the flower which is Stackies from Polka Doodles

I distressed the edges of the papers and also added Distress Ink in tattered rose. You might be able to see that I've added some tattered rose to the flower layers and the sentiment as well.

This card should some other challenges too :-

Truly Scrumptious :- Sketch and buttons and bows.

Allsorts :- Distressed plus buttons and a bow.

Creatalicious challenge :- No stamped images.

I quite like this card! I love the DP and I think the flower worked quite well but you can always tell me if it is rubbish. constructive criticism is alway welcome. Wouldn't do if I thought all my work was wonderful. I'm more likely to think my cards are not very good actually. But probably a lot of us are guilty of that, aren't we?

I'm off to post this and enter the challenges and finish off my Tesco order.

Fairy Wings.

Here I am again girls. I can't believe that this is my third post today. I think I'm on a roll lol!! I don't usually do fairies but I decided to make an exception with this little cutie. I just decided on the spur of the moment that I would try to enter a few challenges after not doing much last week.
Colouring:- Promarkers, Sakura clear glitter gel pen.
DP:- K&Co
Flower:- Craftwork Cards coloured with Promarker.
Ribbon, flat back jewels and stickles.
I don't think it looks like it here but the flowers in the image, large flower, jewels and backing card are all very similar in colour in real life.
The challenges are :-
Pollycraft :- Wings.
Quixotic :- Fairies.
Mojo Monday :- Sketch.
Craftwork Cards :- Flowers.
Stamping Fantasies :- Moving - for the bloghop for Sir Stampalot moving to a bigger shop.
Thanks for pointing this out Clare, I hadn't thought of that but obviously fairies have wings and fly!
I think that's it and I'm going to try to do a bit of catching up now. Maybe I'll be back tomorrow if I can get anything done....it's a full day of work and I've got a couple of blog hops I want to finish.
Kat xx

Awwwww Sweet!

Good afternoon everyone. Just a quick post to show you the card I made last night...eventually! Problem was I set my mind on red and white and then couldn't find any suitable paper. I could probably have printed some but of course that didn't occur to me. So I stamped some red hearts onto white paper instead. I also embossed some whitewash paper from core'dinations and sanded to show the red. I love this House Mouse image....I think it's just perfect for a Valentine and I coloured it with Promarkers.
The swirl is from Sizzix. It's a really long one and this is a piece that was left from another card! The flowers are cut with an EK Success retro flower punch and I used Basic Grey Cupcake DP. I've used my MS heart punch again and some heart jewels from my stash, card candy from Craftwork Cards and ribbon from my stash. I had a bit of a wrestle with the ribbon because it wanted to show you its' plain side and I was determined that it was going to be all spotty. As you can see I won lol!

I'm entering a few challenges with this card:-

Basic Grey :- Sketch and paper used to punch flowers.
Easy Craft Projects :- Valentine for a man - hope it's not to girly!
House Mouse :- Valentine.
Cupcake :- Four-legged and furry.
Passion for Promarkers :- Animal and any colours.
Cute Card Thursday :- Spots and dots.
Double Dutch :- Valentine.
C.R.A.F.T. :- Valentine.
Crazy 4 Challenges :- Valentine.

I think that's me then. I'm sure there are lots more out there but enough is enough!!

I'd best do my ironing now. One of my favourite things to do on a Sunday. I've been bad for leaving it too late at night because I want to do something more interesting but today I'm going to be good and get rid of it now. My reasoning is that then I can get on with more crafting later without thinking about having to do boring stuff. I've already managed to do some catching up and some commenting so now I need a coffee and I'll enter these challenges.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Just Cute Bears #3 Hearts.

Good morning everyone. This week at Just Cute Bears we have a really good challenge for you. It is hearts and at this time of year I am sure you will be able to find other challenges you can combine with it.

I've coloured this sweet Popcorn Bear image with Promarkers. Aren't they just a lovely couple? I found this Papermania pastel DP at the bottom of a drawer. I don't think it has ever been used and there are 5 different colours so I think it might come in useful! The image is also from the same Popcorn set. They are both quite big so you really need to use at least an A5 card so that is a bit of a difference from my usual square cards. I found some pink card that is a good match and edged it with my Martha Stewart heart punch and added some brown ribbon. I added some heart shaped jewels to the sentiment and some pink flat backed pearls in two corners and a flower to finish off.

I just needed an engagement as my best friend's middle son has just go engaged. I hope they like their card, I posted it to them today. My friend is dead chuffed as they have been together since University. Funnily enough Kelly is from my area and Alan met her when he was studying at Aberdeen Uni. They have been together for a few years now so a wedding will be just great, they are a lovely couple. My friend is panicking now as they want her to make the wedding cake. She doesn't need to worry, she is a great baker, always has been since we were in the Young Farmers.

So girls I hope you can join us this week. Remember the closing time for entries is 10pm on Saturday 13th February. We have a lovely prize again from Kim at Cuddly Buddly.

I am just waiting for an order to come from them so maybe next week I'll be making my DT card with one of their bears. I'm looking forward to seeing your lovely heart themed projects this week. Don't forget to pop over to my lovely teamies blogs to see their gorgeous creations.

Totally Gorjuss 16.

Good morning everyone at least I hope Mr B has published this post at 8am as requested!

I can't believe that this is week 16 at Totally Gorjuss already. Net has given us a super sketch to work with this week. I hope you like it. I found it very easy to work with and you can always rotate it if you want and of course you can add little bits and pieces to suit yourself. Since this is the first Saturday in the month we are sponsored by Joanna Sheen and the prize is a lovely £10 voucher to spend in her online shop. And best of all there is no p&p to pay.

I've used one of my favourite Gorjuss Girls this week. I think she may have a Valentine in the envelope in her hand. It certainly looks like it, there's a heart on the back of the envelope lol.

My DP this week is from K&Co and the Gorjuss Girl is coloured with Promarkers. I've added some lovely Prima paper roses I just got today fromCrafts U Love and a heart charm I got from Bunny Zoe's Crafts. I went onto Bunny Zoe's online shop to look at a stamp and ended up with lots of charms as well as the stamp lol!

I think I have been a very bad blogger this week but somehow I don't seem to have had much time. I've done both of my DT cards though and managed to comment on the challenge entries so that is something. I've also had to make another sympathy card the other day. I think I should try to get some made so that I have one to hand when I need it and don't have to rush off and make one.

Hopefully this will be posted before I go to work and then when I come home I can see if any of you have posted a quick card for us to look at. I think everyone is not as slow as me lol! Since I am scheduling this on Friday evening I will go off and do my scheduled post for Just Cute Bears while I am using the laptop.

I am intending to enter some challenges with this card:-

Another Sympathy Card.

I think I've been a bad blogger this past week or so. Yesterday evening I made this sympathy card that I should have made at the end of last week. But I was busy trying to catch up with DT stuff before being away at the weekend. I made this for one of my WRI friends who lost her mother last week. She was 95 and lived with her until going into hospital recently. I think she will miss her very much. What a wonderful age to live to. My auntie will be 94 this year and still keeps very busy. If I get to be old I would like to be like her.

Anyway about the card. I embossed a piece of card with the swiss dots folder in the Cuttlebug distressed it with frayed burlap and tattered rose and edged it with walnut stain. The image is CG127 Flower Box and the sentiment is from CL 283 both from Hero Arts. I decoupaged the large flower for a bit of dimension. Promarkers were used for colouring. I finished off with some card candy from Craftwork Cards.
I've left it quite simple as I think simple is best for sympathy cards.

Now I need to go and see if I can catch up with commenting on entries for Totally Gorjuss and Just Cute Bears.

Almost forgot I had an email telling me that stamps uk is having a closing down sale. They have lots of goodies on sale and the last date for orders is 28th February. I've had a look....needless to say. And I just got an order from Nikki at Bunny Zoe's Crafts. I can recommend Bunny Zoe's Crafts. My order came very quickly, the prices are good and she has a good range of goodies. So why not check both of these out if you like a bargain.

See you all tomorrow I hope. We still have a lot of snow and ice here. It has been horrible again since Friday and I am pretty fed up with it. On the bright side my postie came today with an order from Craftwork cards and my Tesco home shopping was delivered too.
