White on White Challenges.

Another Christmas card. I made this last night but between work and a cardmaking session at a friend's house this is the first chance I have had to post it.

I followed the great sketch from the Mojo Monday challenge. I coloured this sweet Penny Black image and the Penny Black Saturday challenge and the Colour Create challenge both want white on white with colour only on the image. Then I thought it would fit the Charisma Cardz challenge which is no backing paper. And the Sophisticat challenge which is for buttons and ribbon.

I have use my favourite Cuttlebug snowflake and the new snowflake embossing folder I got at the SECC recently plus my old favourite swiss dots. I also use my new labels nine nestie for the image and the sentiment.

This second is a very simple made in a few minutes card I made late last night. This was inspired by a card that Clare (littlebear) posted yesterday to use up some scraps. I thought I would see what I could make to use up some scraps too. I love the idea but I'm not keen on the flower I put on it! I was in a hurry though lol! I used some paper from last year plus a piece of sticky ribbon and three flowers and a brad and finished off with a sentiment stamped straight onto the card and some sticky jewels.

Must go now, challenges to enter before the deadline.

See you soon,

Kat xx

As for the scrap card, well it's amazing what we miss out on, Like Clare's card, this is a great last minute card that would cost a mint in the shop's...Well done.
I lent all my cuttlebug to Pete's Mom a few month's ago, don't have the heart to ask for them ,so will get some more.
She came home Tuesday thankfully, can't get to see her till Friday though...
It will be nice to see her in her own home...

I hope it won't be long now for Catriona, my Sister in law was over 15 day's late.
Don't worry though that baby will come when he/she is ready.....
Don't go away for so long next time, Miss you......
