Is it just me?

Maybe it is just me but does anyone else find it more difficult to make a card for a friend who's a cardmaker too? When I started this card I had no idea what I was going to do lol! My friend's birthday is tomorrow but I know it's safe to show you the card as she doesn't use the Internet.

I used :-
Sentiment :- Hero Arts.
Background :- Hero Arts.
Flower and butterfly :- Magnolia Doohickey dies.
Stamping and edging done with Stampin' Up! Lavender Lace.
Ric Rac, Brad and Shimmer Dots from stash.
Deckle edge Nestie and Glamour Dust.

What do you think? I hope she likes it. I'm quite pleased with it considering it just sort of happened. Did you notice I used my favourite colour.

I didn't make it with any challenges in mind but I think it fits the following :-
Totally Papercrafts :- Bling it up.
Secret Crafter :- Monochromatic.
Sir Stampalot :- Whatever You Fancy.
Crafty Cardmakers :- Flutterbies.

Well I'm off now to have a look at the entries for the candy I offered as GDT for the House Mouse and Friends 100th challenge and blog hop. So if you entered the blog hop, the challenge and left me a comment remember to pop back tomorrow to see if you've won.

I'm also going to catch up with my DT work and visit my blog friends who I've been neglecting lately. I've not achieved anything today in spite of having a day off because of a local holiday. I could get used to not working on a Monday. Last week I only came back from babysitting on Monday and next week I have my WRI outing so that's 3 Mondays in a row. Fantastic.

Thanks for looking and don't be shy, feel free to tell me what you think. I'm always encouraged by other crafters' kind comments.

  12. A really super creation Kat and yes I know that feeling well, it always makes you think twice "will this do" and is it good enough.

Thank you so much for sharing your lovely work with us at Stampalot Challenge and good luck.

Hope the boys are doing OK, like ours heading for their first birthday.

Daisy and Lily spent time at the kennels during our holiday, we felt it unfair to ask the boys to look after them as well as the older dogs and horses. They don't seem any the worse for wear and are still as hyper as ever.
