Totally Gorjuss 216 - New

I hope this is going to work so just in case I'll make it short.

Our challenge at Totally Gorjuss this week is"New." I've chosen to make a New Home card this week. Our minister is retiring after being here for forty years.

I love this LOTV image for a New Home card.

Thanks for looking and I'll catch up later after work. It was nice to have two days off but it would have been better to have more. Next week is another short week then back to normal again. At least we won't be as busy in the Post Office now!

Totally Gorjuss 215 - Eek Quick Christmas Card.

Well good morning everyone. So much for being able to get online and post last week's card late on Monday. It's now Thursday evening but at least I'm early for this week's challenge!

Famous last words about having broadband by now! I think I misunderstood when I ordered it and the guy on the phone said the 16th. My welcome letter mentioned the 16th and the 23rd. Needless to say I've been too busy to phone and find out what's happening but I haven't been sent a router yet.

Hopefully by the time this posts I'll know better what's happening.

Our challenge this week at Totally Gorjuss is to make a quick Christmas card. We have two sponsors this week, The Ribbon Girl and Heather's Hobbie Haven so you have two chances to win.

So here's my super-quick card.

rl
I used :-
Image, sentiment and Washi tape :- Stampin' Up!
Gems :- Hobby House.

I love that Santa. I think he looks like you imagine Santa should look!

I only have another one day to work before Christmas. But I don't think it'll be a pleasant one somehow. This year the DWP aren't paying out pensions and allowances very early so it means that as well as all my usual Monday customers I'll have Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday customers too. I've already had two nightmare Mondays with parcels and cards! Never mind I don't have to work on Tuesday as we close at 12,.30 and I usually start at 2pm.

Are you all organised for Christmas? I'm not sure I am! I got my last (I hope) card made on Thursday evening - for my husband!!

Thanks for looking and I'll catch up later after work if I can.

Totally Gorjuss 214 Special Christmas Card.

Morning everyone. Just a quick visit this morning as I'm going to work soon. Hope you feel sorry for me as this time of year in the post office is hell on earth!!

I'm only two days late with my DT post for Totally Gorjuss this week. Same old story, couldn't get online for days and now this morning I'm on no problem. I could have posted with my iPad but it has a nasty habit of putting my photos on sideways. Not a good look! Is it just me or has anyone else had this problem? Anyway here's what I made.

At least I had the presence of mind to add it to the DT blog early. Wish I'd been smart enough to add it here too to a scheduled post. While I'm here though I'm going to schedule next week's!

I used a lovely set from Stampin' Up! I just stamped onto some of their lovely card and added the sentiment coloured with Stampin' Up! markers. The gems are from the Hobby House.

I'm off to schedule next week's post now and do some Tesco online grocery shopping for Wednesday. Hopefully by this time next week I'll be back to wi-fi broadband.

Thanks for looking and I'll try to catch up later.

Totally Gorjuss 213 - Anything Goes with Santa.

.Good morning everyone. I'm so pleased to be online easily! It's Friday just now so I'm not panicking at the last minute in the evening! Just lately I've been using a mixture of laptop and iPad but this week my iPad has
been in the huff and won't get my emails or let me online! So I'm taking the chance to write this just now in the middle of the dreaded housework. I would have been happy to add the photo on the laptop and do the rest on the iPad. It's probably just me but when I add a photo on the iPad it looks fine but when I press publish the photo is on sideways!!

Anyway enough waffle! Our challenge at Totally Gorjuss is "Anything Goes with Santa." That should be easy now, shouldn't it? After all it is nearly Christmas! We're sponsored by The Hobby House and I'm sure you can find something in their store to spend your winnings on!

Look at the easy card I made.

I used :-
Image and sentiment :- Stampin' Up!
Washi tape :- Stampin' Up!
Gems :- Hobby House.

It was so quick and easy that  made another one with different paper and tape.

I've really been making an effort to get my cards made this week. Next week I'm out for two Christmas meals. Monday with the Guild and Wednesday with the WRI so I'd best keep on and get the cards done. Then I've only got to print the address labels, write the cards, put them in the envelopes, stick on the stamps and post them. Why are we girls lucky enough to be in charge of Christmas? Might get hubby roped in to do the stamps and envelopes.

Sorry I haven't been around or done much visiting. When this mobile broadband dongle thingy works it works really well, unfortunately sometimes the 3G signal isn't strong enough to let me online even though I'm supposedly connected. So I've given in and arranged for normal wi-fi broadband but I won't have it until the 16th, I hope!! I phoned about it on the 1st. Don't know why they have to take so long. When my phone was cut off earlier last month, their mistake since I only cancelled the broadband I had to wait a full two weeks to be reconnected and very helpfully with a new number. How inconvenient is that!!?

Anyway I'll catch up later after work. Have a lovely weekend everyone.

Thanks for looking and if you can spare a minute to leave a comment I'd be really happy. I know everyone's very busy just now but it's nice to know someone's looked at my post even if they don't like my card.

Totally Gorjuss 212 - Snow's The Way To Go.

Hi everyone, I hope I'm speaking to you on Saturday morning! It's very wild and windy here (Friday evening) and I can't get online on my laptop! I'm bit reluctant to try adding a photo of my card as I added one on my DT post and it ended up sideways!!

This week at Totally Gorjuss our theme is "Snow's The Way To Go." This should be easy, shouldn't it? After all we're all busy making our Christmas cards just now aren't we?
Here's what I made this week.

Hope I can get online sometime before this posts as I'm pretty sure this photo will end up sideways too. It did but I managed to get online when I should have been leaving for work!

I've used a sentiment and the cute Igloo Bears image from LOTV. Simply coloured with Promarkers and finished with some bakers' twine. We're sponsored by the lovely people from . I'm sure you'd all like to have a browse around their online store!

I've got an all day class today - at least I would have if I didn't have to work in the morning lol! So I'll have to miss half of it but hopefully I'll get the instructions for the cards I miss.

Have a lovely weekend everyone and thanks for looking.

Totally Gorjuss 211 - Child's Christmas.

Good morning everyone, Saturday again! I don't know about where you are but it's been very cold here this week. Our knit and crochet group was cancelled on Tuesday because the roads were so bad. So I decided I might as well go to work and have the afternoon off for the next meeting. I thought the organisers were being unneccessarily cautious till I went out to go to work and discovered how slippy the roads were! The afternoon postie confirmed how bad the road was between us and the nearest village so I think it was probably right if a bit of a disappointment to cancel the meeting.

Enough waffle! At Totally Gorjuss this week our challenge is "Child's Christmas." And of course it doesn't have to be a card, it could be a present. Hope you can join us as we have two sponsors this week, Bugaboo and The Ribbon Girl so you have two chances to win.

Here's what I made quickly - since I didn't have a lot of time. As usual!

I used :-
Image and sentiment :- LOTV.
Colouring :- Promarkers.
Snowflake - Martha Stewart.
Pearl :- Hobby House.
Glamour Dust and Ribbon.

Thanks for looking and hope to see you over on the challenge blog.

Have a lovely weekend everyone.

One more sleep.............!

No not for me, I'm past being excited about my birthday lol. It's Poppy's birthday tomorrow and she's very excited about it! She'll be 6. Seems like five minutes since we waited days for her to finally appear about 12 days late. Seems to be a habit with Catriona's children. Oliver's birthday was on the 9th and he was 12 days late too!

Since Poppy is a very girly little girl and does ballet and likes dolls (unlike her Mum) I thought this sweet LOTV image was perfect for her card. I finished off with some ribbon, punched butterflies, pearls and lots of Glamour Dust. Nearly forgot the sentiment's from Stampin' Up!.

Hope she likes it.  Hope you like it too!

I sent her a pink, fluffy leapord print (?) onesie from M&S. Think I'll be popular with her. Oliver certainly loved his dog onesie. He had it on as soon as it arrived lol!

I'd best go and schedule my DT post for tomorrow while my broadband is working. But that's another story!

Thanks for looking and I hope you can find time to tell me what you think.

Totally Gorjuss 210 - Three Patterned Papers.

Good morning everyone. I'm writing this on Friday afternoon before I go to work while I can get online. I'm sure you're all fed up hearing about my broadband problems so I'll just say that Orange mobile broadband works here but it can be a bit temperamental!!

This week at Totally Gorjuss We'd like you to use 3 patterned papers on your card or project. Easy! Even I can do that. I admit it wasn't easy after so many CAS cards recently but these pads of LOTV papers are so easy to use as they all go together that I think I managed!

I used:-
Image :- LOTV topper.
DP and sentiment :- LOTV.
Gems :- Hobby House.
Glamour Dust.
Ribbon from stash.

Have a lovely weekend everyone, catch up later.

Thanks everyone who takes time to leave a comment.

Imagine being married for 50 years!!!!!!!!

Sounds like a sentence doesn't it!? I made this card for a lovely couple who have been happily married for 50 years and I'm sure it doesn't seem like a life sentence to them!

I'm on a rota to drive people to church and I drive Sandy and Jean every month. They're a lovely couple and devoted to each other. When I first knew them they were both officers in the Boys Brigade and Sandy was Captain when my son finished BBs at almost 18. When they had a car it was never any problem to them to give other people a lift so I think it's good that other people now do the same for them.

I just heard the date of their anniversary the day before so my card was a wee bit late as I had other things to do before I could get a card made. They were delighted with it so I'm happy.

I used :-
Sentiment :- Stampin' Up!
Flowers :- Nellie Snellen punches.
Pearls :- Hobby House.
Embossing folder :- Couture Creations - Tied Together.

I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. A wee bit fancier than anything I've been making recently!

I'd best go and get a raffle prize organised for my WRI quiz night tonight. I've already wrapped one but I thought maybe I'd wrap up some of my cards as a prize too.

Thanks for looking and I'll see you tomorrow with some cards I made for  a colleague.

Thanks also to everyone who leaves lovely comments which encourage me to carry on blogging.

Oliver's Four Now

I think I forgot to show you Oliver's birthday card. He was four on Saturday and just to make his day his doggie was two. Guess that makes them twins lol! Oliver had a very busy weekend. he had a birthday party on Saturday morning, one on Saturday afternoon and his own on Sunday afternoon. I think he was a very tired wee boy, full of birthday cake on Sunday night. I got a pic of him on Monday wearing his new dog onesie that he got for his birthday from popular Gran (moi) and Grampa. He loves it and put it on as soon as he got it!

But I digress, here's his birthday card.

I used :-
Image, sentiment and DP :- LOTV. (Image is one of their toppers.)
Card Candy :- Craftwork Cards.
Bakers' Twine :- Ribbon Girl.
Button.

Oliver loves his doggie and he also loves his bike so I thought he'd like this image. He always talks about their young dog as "his Brodie."

I've still no idea what the challenges are just now, maybe I'll get a few minutes to look around tomorrow. I'm hoping to also show you another card tomorrow that I made for a lovely couple who celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary last week. I also have some cards I made for a colleague and some Christmas cards. I may not have been around online but I haven't been completely idle!

In the meantime thanks to everyone who visits me and takes time to leave me a lovely comment.

Totally Gorjuss 209 - Remember.

Good morning everyone. I've got my fingers crossed here so it's not easy to type lol! I've reluctantly changed my broadband supplier. I couldn't cope any longer with hardly being able to get online! I've gone for Orange mobile using a dongle. My daughter has had Orange mobile for quite a while. She doesn't have a landline, she doesn't see the point!

This week at Totally Gorjuss our theme is "Remember." Quite appropriate for this time of year but I'm sure you can put your own spin on it. I've used a favourite stamp and kept my card very simple. I just coloured the stamp with markers and didn't add any more colour to the petals or leaves.

Here's what I made.

I used :-
Image :- Pleasant Poppies from Stampin' Up!
Coloured with SU markers in Real Red, Always Artichoke, Old Olive and Basic Black.
Sentiment :- from the Wetlands set from SU.
Pearls.

I've hardly been around the challenges for ages so I've no idea what's going on out there. I'll check up this afternoon after work.

Today is my grandson, Oliver's birthday. I can't believe he's 4 already! Poppy will be 6 in a fortnight's time. Every time we see her, which isn't very often, she's trying to read everything she sees. Doesn't seem long since her Mum was the same. Catriona loved to read when she was little.

I hope you can join us this week. Crafters' Companion are sponsoring us this week and I'm sure they've got lots of bargains to tempt you even if you don't win the prize.

Have a lovely weekend everyone.

Oops I forgot to show you these..........!!

I've been so busy this week I forgot to show you the other Halloween card and the boxes of Halloween sweeties I made for Poppy and Oliver!

Images :- all from Penny Black.
Boxes :- Cricut - Bags, Tags, Boxes and More.
Ribbon in orange and black.
Card Candy :- Craftwork Cards.
Washi Tape :- Stampin' Up!
Colouring :- Promarkers.

I don't know if they liked the cards and boxes but I'm pretty sure they liked the choccies!

I'm hoping that this new mobile broadband is going to be a success. So far it's working pretty well, sometimes even better than my previous supplier. I've got a couple of other cards to show you when I've got a minute to blog them.

Thanks for looking and I'd love to hear from you if you've got a minute to spare.

Totally Gorjuss 208 - Anything Goes Plus Snow.

Good morning everyone and time for another challenge at Totally Gorjuss. This week we'd like to see "Anything goes plus snow." This suits me perfectly as I'm really trying to get on with my Christmas cards just now. This week we're sponsored by Craft All Day so don't forget to give them a visit.

This week I have another simple card using a gorgeous LOTV image.

Totally Gorjuss Challenge 207 - Spooky.

Sorry no time to chat but this is my card for this week's challenge at Totally Gorjuss. It's taken all day to achieve this so since it's very late on Friday evening I'm just going to add the pic and come back on Saturday afternoon to add the details!

Thanks for looking and see you all later I hope!

Totally Gorjuss 206 - String.

Good morning everyone. I'll have to make this brief as I'm still having connection problems. I'm going to have to phone about this again. Seems such a waste of time after the last time. I've spent ages trying to write this on Friday morning and at last I seem to have found a spot where I can do it. I could get on my blog but when I tried to get to the page where you write a new post it wouldn't load so fingers crossed it's going to work this time. I'm not optimistic about adding a photo though as that seems to be the worst thing to do!!

At Totally Gorjuss this week our theme is "string." Easy isn't it? Even I can manage that! We're sponsored by Heather's Hobbie Haven this week so I hope you can join us.

I used:-
Image and sentiment :- LOTV.
Colouring :- Promarkers.
Bakers' Twine :- Ribbon Girl.
Snowflake :- Martha Stewart punch.
Gems :- Hobby House.
Card Candy :- Craftwork Cards.
Glamour Dust.

Well I'm going to quit while I'm ahead here since I've been faffing about for about an hour and a half trying to write this and my post on the DT blog. I even have a photo on my phone in case I needed to write the posts with my iPad!

I'll be around to see what everyone's up to after work this afternoon.

Thanks for looking and I really appreciate it when you have time to leave me a comment.

Look what I made.......!!!!

While I've been struggling to get online I've still been busy. I haven't done a lot of crocheting for quite a while but I became "hooked" (sorry) again recently after a knit and crochet group started locally. I've made a few little crochet jackets to send to Malawi and this cosy blanket. I'll show you the jackets another day if my broadband allows! Speaking of broadband I started this last night (Tuesday) but I couldn't download the picture so I'm trying again now!

Success at last, though it did take a few tries before I got it downloaded. Maybe I'll go and catch up with some DT work if I can now.

Thanks for looking. My next blanket is done in grannie squares. If I can give it up though cos I'm using colours I really like!

Totally Gorjuss 205 - Things with Wings.

Good morning everyone. Hopefully I'll be on time with my post this week! I'm scheduling it while I'm at my daughter's house where I have a good enough signal to actually get online!

Our theme at Totally Gorjuss this week is "Things with Wings."

Here's what I made.

I used :--
Image and sentiment :- LOTV.
Colouring :- Promarkers.
I added a little glitter to the halos and stars with a Sakura clear glitter gel pen.

Nice and CAS, just the way I like my cards just now. Might make more like this.

Thanks for looking. Catch up with you all this afternoon after work. I hope!

Totally Gorjuss 204 - Anything Goes plus Stars.

Hello there. I'm a bit late with my post for Totally Gorjuss. I don't think I've ever been as late as this but my broadband has been a complete nightmare.  In the last few weeks it has gone from being really bad to completely impossible. Most evenings I've been unable to get online and even in the morning I can't get online either. Since I was working full time for the last two weeks I haven't seen much online at all. Luckily I can use my iPad at lunchtime at work as the 3G signal is better there than it is at home so at least I've been able to keep up with my DT commenting. Unfortunately I haven't seen much at all of my favourite blogs and I'm sure anyone who visits me must think I've given up blogging!

I'm at my daughter's for 4 days to do the school run with Poppy and pick up Oliver from nursery so now I can get online. I have tried my broadband helpline but after 30 mins and not getting through, 45 minutes another day and being told to run 3 speed tests over 24 hours and get back to them and to crown it all nearly an hour the next day and getting someone who obviously didn't know anything!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sure you can imagine how I reacted when he said "everything looks fine from here."

But enough of my woes, here's the card I should have blogged on Saturday.

I used:-
Image:- Oh dear!!! I've forgotten, I can picture the packaging so maybe I'll go and have a look at some online shops to see if I can find it. Phew I was right when I thought it was from Woodware, I just didn't want to say it was and then find I'd got it wrong lol!
Just stamped very simply with SU markers and some sparkle added to the stars.

I'm going to quit while I'm ahead here and get back to my crochet. I must show you what I've been making. Probably tomorrow!

I'm off to check my camera to make sure I've got a photo of next weeks Totally Gorjuss card so I can schedule next Saturday's post while I'm here with decent Internet access.

Thanks for looking. I hope somebody visits me in spite of me being such a bad blogger recently.

Totally Gorjuss 203 - Traditional Christmas Colours.

Good morning everyone. First of all I must apologise for my lack of blogging and leaving comments this week. i have had no broadband or only a poor connection which doesn't let me online! I've managed to do my DT commenting using my iPad but it's not ideal.

This week at Totally Gorjuss our challenge is "Traditional Christmas Colours."

Here's what I made.

I used :-
Image, sentiment and DP :- LOTV.
Colouring :- Promarkers.
Pearls :- Hobby House.
Glamour Dust.

I'm going to quit while I'm ahead here. I've been hanging on the phone to my broadband supplier for 30 minutes and still no reply just the usual waffle about someone will answer as soon as possible. Really?!!!!!!!!!!

By the way we've got a DT call at Totally Gorjuss so if you'd like to join us just nip over there for more details.

Saturday, 21 September 2013

Totally Gorjuss 202 - Dotty.

Good morning everyone. Doesn't seem long since last Saturday. Must have been a busy week lol! I haven't had much time for crafting or blogging. Doesn't help when my internet connection has been rubbish this week! Doesn't help that I've been obsessed with crocheting either.

Yes I know it's afternoon now but for some reason in spite of the fact I scheduled this post for 8.15am Mr Blogger decided to schedule it for 10.16pm? Thanks again Mr Blogger. For nothing!!

Well this week at Totally Gorjuss our theme is "Dotty." I think I may be going loopy here. Last week I was convinced the theme was spots and stripes instead of just stripes. This week I managed to use the wrong side of my DP and ended up with a stripey card. So a quick card later I managed to make this one!

I used :-
Image and Sentiment :- LOTV.
Colouring :- Promarkers.
Gems :- Hobby House.
Snowflakes :- Martha Stewart punch and  another small punch.
Glamour Dust and Washi Tape.

Hope you can join us this week cos we're sponsored by Heather's Hobbie Haven and The Ribbon Girl. Isn't that great? That means you have two chances to win. So what you waiting for? See you over there.

Well I have to work this morning so I'll see you all later. Have a lovely weekend.

Saturday, 14 September 2013

Totally Gorjuss Challenge 201 - Stripes.

Good morning everyone. Is it just me or did anyone else have a really quick week? Mine disappeared very quickly! Only another week and then my colleague will be on holiday for two week. Bet that time doesn't pass quickly!!

But since it's Saturday it's time for another challenge at Totally Gorjuss. This week we'd like to see stripes on your work. As you might be able to tell from my card I got it into my head the challenge was spots and stripes. Oops, silly me! Still there are some stripes on it. As you can see I'm still in CAS mode.

I used :-
Image and Sentiment :- LOTV.
Colouring :- Promarkers.
Snowflake :- Martha Stewart punch.
Washi Tape :- Fantastic Ribbons.
Card Candy :- Craftwork Cards.
Glamour Dust.

I found a challenge :- Christmas Stampin' All Year Long. :- Cute and Cuddly Christmas.

I've been a very bad blogger this week so I can only apologise for my lack of commenting. Hope things are better this week.

So thanks for looking and the lovely comments you leave. I'll catch up later after work.

Totally Gorjuss 200 - Anything Goes.

Good morning everyone. Time for this week's challenge at Totally Gorjuss. This week our challenge is even easier than ever, it's "Anything Goes." So you can do anything you like!

I've kept things simple again this week.

I used :-
Image and sentiment :- LOTV.
Colouring :- Promarkers.
Glamour Dust and Perfect Pearls.

We have a new sponsor this week, Craft All Day, so don't forget to pop over there and see what they have to tempt you.

I have a crop after work today so I'll try to catch up later.

Thanks for looking and also for all the lovely comments you leave.

Thought I'd do another Wedding card.......

since I had stamped two images in case I messed up one of them! This one is just very quick and simple.

I used :-
Image :- LOTV.
Sentiment :- Stampin' Up!
Colouring :- Promarkers.
Gems :- Hobby House.
Glamour Dust.

This is one of my favourite images for wedding cards!

I'd best go now and see if I can make my DT card for Saturday. I have to go out to a meeting tonight and I've not achieved anything so far!

Thanks for looking and I hope you can find a minute to leave a comment so I can come and visit you too.

For the Newlyweds.

I've just sneaked on here when I should be hoovering and dusting. My dogs are casting so it's not pretty. Two big black Labradors have a lot of hair to cast!!

Anyway I should have done this last night but it was a bit late so I left it till now. I showed you a tag the other day that I made for a wedding present. Now I'd like to show you the card I made for the couple. This time I've used colours that might or might not be their colour combo. The invitation had some pearls on it a similar colour to the flower centres so I thought it would be nice to use that colour in my congratulations card.

I used :-
Image and DP :- LOTV.
Sentiment :- Stampin' Up!
Colouring :- Promarkers.
Pearls :- Hobby House.
Glamour Dust.

Well my internet connection isn't brilliant this morning so I'd best go and do something useful (!) now.

Thanks for looking and I'll catch up later.

Sunday, 1 September 2013

Just a tag.

Hi, if there's anyone out there! Visitors seem to be a bit few and far between here so I won't rabbit on!

We were invited to a wedding reception next Saturday. We can't go but obviously we still wanted to give the happy couple a present. I couldn't get any wedding paper so I bought some gorgeous flowery paper. The gift tags were spotty so I decided to make one to match the paper.

I used :-
Image :- Stampin' Up!
Colouring :- Stampin' Write markers.
Tag cut with a Sizzix die.
Ribbon from stash.

I've still to make a congratulations card for them. Best do that now.

Thanks to anyone who looked and even more thanks if you had time to leave a comment.

Saturday, 31 August 2013

Good morning everyone, sorry I've been a bit MIA this week. My aunt died last Saturday and we had to go and stay at my daughter's on Wednesday evening as the funeral was about 170 miles away at 10.30am! My aunt would have been 97 on the 13th of September so she's had a long life. She wasn't without health problems but she'd had a good life. She worked all her life but usually managed a holiday every year when she was younger. She had been all over and even went to Australia when she was over 80, with her cousing who was even older lol. She never married but had nieces and nephews, even as far as great, great nieces and nephews and many friends. Everyone in her village knew her and the turn out at the village church for her funeral was amazing. The minister had her down to a T and provoked lots of laughter with her eulogy. While we are sad and will really miss her I think we all feel very lucky to have had her as our aunt.

Aunt Jean was always busy, she didn't crochet any more but she still knitted. She was the one who taught me to crochet, as my gran, who was an expert crocheter, had died before I realised I wanted to learn. The most amazing thing for me was to see the tablecloth my Gran crocheted, probably about 55 years ago, on the communion table. It looked fantastic and as good as the day it was finished. I'm going to ask my sister-in-law to get me a photo of it. I felt incredibly proud and quite emotional when I saw it.

Anyway enough waffle because my internet connection isn't too brilliant just now!

I used :-
Embossing folder :- Northern Flurry from S U.
Sentiment :- Joyful Christmas from SU.
Gems and Glamour Dust.

See you all later after work.

Thanks for looking.

Totally Gorjuss 198 - Bows.

Edited to add :- is it ok to say I hate Mr Blogger or will that make him worse? I definitely scheduled this post for Saturday morning and he didn't post it!!! When I checked tonight it was under draft. But I double-checked before I switched off last night and it said scheduled so I'm pretty annoyed. Not sure why considering the number of people who visit me!

Good morning everyone. I think this has been a really quick week! But it's time for another challenge at Totally Gorjuss. This week we'd like to see bows on your work. We're sponsored by the lovely people at The Ribbon Girl who are offering a voucher to spend in their lovely online store.

I've made a very quick Christmas card this week.

I used :-
Image and DP :- LOTV topper.
Sentiment :- Craftwork Cards.
Pearls :- Hobby House.
Sakura clear glitter gel pen and ribbon.

Challenges :-
ABC Christmas :- Q is for quick.
Crafty Ribbons :- Anything Goes with ribbon.
Hobby House :- Christmas.

Well thanks for looking, I'm working this morning and then I'm going to my local craft shop. My friend who works there is doing a melting pot demo and  I think there might be a make and take too.

Oliver's New Jacket.

I think I might have mentioned a wee while ago that I was crocheting a jacket for Oliver. I sewed an apron for Poppy for a WRI competition so I thought I'd make something for Oliver too. I kept Poppy's apron till I had finished Oliver's jacket. I don't suppose I need to tell you that I forgot to take the apron when we went to babysit! But here's Oliver in his jacket.

and here he is with the hood up.

Isn't he cute?!

As you can probably see there's plenty of room in it for him to grow lol.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
