Penny Black 172 - Age Is Just a Number!

Hi to anyone who happens to read this. I'll keep it brief cos not many people read my blog!

When I saw this challenge at Penny Black I couldn't resist joining in. I thought this fun image would be perfect for a birthday card for my great nephew. I'm well ahead here because he's not 17 till next July!


I used :-
Image :- Penny Black.
DP :- MME Everyday Flair. 
Sentiment :- stamped - Hero Arts, oval - Craftwork cards.
Colouring :- Promarkers.
Boys will be boys charm from stash.
Numbers cut with Cricut.
Nesties.

I'm also entering the following challenges :-
One Stitch at a Time :- Anything Goes.
Papertake Weekly :- Use 3 different shapes. I've got a circle, triangle and oval.

I'm off now to see about my DT card for Totally Gorjuss. I had hoped to get more done today but my colleague had to unexpectedly take her Mum into hospital this afternoon and I had to go into work till closing time. She phoned  me a wee while ago and I'm relieved to hear that while her Mum needs a blood transfusion  she's actually feeling ok! Since her Mum is not a well lady this may need to happen again but at least she knows now and won't get such a fright if they phone from the surgery.

Nothing's ever simple is it?

If anyone feels like leaving me a comment I'd be really grateful. I sometimes wonder if anyone visits my blog as I don't get much feedback. Maybe my cards are really bad and no-one wants to hurt my feelings! On the other hand I've actually lost 3 followers recently, do you think it was something I said lol!

    Well Kat, when your posts pop up on my reading list I always pop over; I'm one of "those" visitors that pop in and out - often without commenting, it's a time thing, lol...I suffer the same fate though, I sometimes wonder if I'd get any comments if I didn't enter challenges (and they're only being polite!) The answer is to check out your blogviews in Blogger in draft: at least that lets you know how many people have visited :-) BTW, great little card...I can't believe you're eight MONTHS ahead (I finished a DT card about eight minutes before cut off last night, early for me, lol) Keep sharing, even if we're ungrateful :-)Dee
