Even the little dog's singing!

Actually I suspect it's howling rather than singing. As you can see I'm really into Christmas cards at the moment. I've been a bit lazy and used a lovely LOTV topper to make this card.

I used :-
DP :- Basic Grey.
Sentiment :- Hero Arts.
Candi :- Craftwork Cards.
Distress Ink :- edge of DP.
Lace, ribbon, Glamour Dust and Sakura glitter gel pen.

I'm entering the following challenges :-
Basic Grey :- Ribbon and lace.
Crafty Hazelnut :- All wrapped up.
Bunny Zoe :- Distressing.

I managed to make a couple of simple cards yesterday so I think that's 38 Christmas cards I've made now. I am making a conscious effort to make some every week now so that I don't have to make lots at the last minute! Well that's the theory anyway!!

Thanks for looking and I'm going to try to catch up this afternoon as I've got a busy week ahead. On Monday evening our WRI quiz team, including me, is taking part in a quiz night for all the WRIs in Aberdeenshire. It's usually an enjoyable evening. Then on Tuesday we are going to a quiz night at one of the WRIs in our local group. On Thursday morning I have a check up at the dentist and I'm out at night. Unfortunately I also have to work as well most days!

Totally Gorjuss 151 - Punch and Die.

Hi everyone, is it really a week since last Saturday? I suppose it must be since it's time for another challenge at Totally Gorjuss. This week our theme is "punch and die." How easy is that? All you need to do is use a punch or a die or maybe even both. We're sponsored by Craftwork Cards and I don't know about you but I love their products. My most used are Candi and die cut messages. Here's what I made this week. Yes funny you should mention it but it's another Christmas card!

I used :-
Sentiment :- Hero Arts.
DP :- LOTV.
Candi :- Craftwork Cards.
Snowflake :- Spellbinders Create a Flake Four.
Glamour Dust, Ribbon.

I had a bit of bother cutting out the largest snowflake in this set but I think I've got it sussed now! I'm just thinking now that it would have shown up better against a plain colour. Too late now though!

Hope you can join us this week.

Thanks for looking and don't forget to check out what my talented teamies have made to inspire you.

Catch you all later.

A Sweet Nativity Scene!

Aren't they sweet? I love these LOTV cute squares for a quick card and this was certainly a quick card! I think I might have time to enter the challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's which is a Nativity this week.

I used :-
Image :- LOTV cute square.
Embossing folder :- Sizzx Tim Holtz.
Pearls :- Hobby House.
Candi :- Craftwork Cards.
Snowflake :- Martha Stewart.
Sentiment :- Heritage.
Glamour Dust, Sakura glitter gel pen.

Thanks for looking and I'm off to enter this challenge, schedule tomorrow's post and catch up with my favourite blogs.

Rudolph the red nosed......

reindeer???? Maybe not but this image made me think of that song lol!

I used :-
Image :- Penny Black.
Sentiment :- Hero Arts.
Colouring :- Promarkers.
DP :- LOTV.
Snowflake :- Martha Stewart punch.
Candi :- Craftwork Cards.
Glamour Dust.

I'm entering the following challenges :-
Allsorts :- Inspired by a song.
Sketch Saturday :- Sketch.
Cards for Men :- Animal Magic.

As usual I've not got as much done today as I would have liked. One of the girls at work said look at this cook book. It was Best magazine with a free Cupcake book for 92p. I bought it and gave her the magazine. I don't have any patience with these magazines but the cookbook was worth the 92p! Needless to say it's the start of a series of heaven knows how many parts. Next is Favourite Cakes followed by Biscuits & Brownies, then Grandma's Puddings and so on....... Would be a lot cheaper to buy one or two decent cookery books. I told the same colleague the same when she said she was buying the learn to crochet series. It's cost her a fortune and she's done hardly any of the squares!

Must go now, it feels like time for a coffee. Think I've still got some cheese scones. I took some to work and everybody loved them so I was quite chuffed. I made red velvet cupcakes from my cheapie book today. They don't look very red but they tasted ok lol!

Thanks for looking and I'm hoping to manage to make some more Christmas cards tomorrow. I've got quite a few now. Must count them and probably give myself a fright about how many more I still need to make!

More butterflies.......!

winter ones that is!

I don't think this is what I intended to make this afternoon but this is what happened. My friend came over and when I saw some of the Christmas cards she had made I decided to just use the embossed background and add a sentiment instead of adding a stamped image. I think it turned out ok. Well I hope so anyway lol!

I used :-
Embossing folder :- Sizzix - Tim Holtz snowflakes, red - Cuttlebug.
Sentiment :- Hero Arts.
Gems :- Hobby House.
Ribbon, Glamour Dust.

I'm entering the following challenges :-
Creative Inspirations :- Bingo - white, snowflakes and ribbon.
Simon Says Stamp :- Anything goes.
Oldie but a Goodie :- I've had this sentiment stamp for ages.

I'm off to check out Amazon for a book I've got my eye on. I'd also like to look at food mixers! Blame the Great British Bake Off. I love that programme lol! I've even been watching the junior version which is on a Sunday morning after my daughter told me about it. I received some books from Amazon after about a week of waiting. Yodel kept claiming that they had tried to deliver on 3 different occasions. Considering I was in yesterday at 6.14pm when they said they had tried I don't believe they were ever here. Not once did I get a card saying they had been. I complained to Amazon who were very helpful and today there was a card in my mailbox and the parcel was in my shed!! So here's hoping my next order is more successful. I would download the book to my iPad but the hardback version is cheaper so I'm going to risk ordering it.

Hope everyone is ok and not suffering after the awful weather we had at the beginning of the week.

Thanks for looking and hope to hear from some of you.

A snowflake is........

Last night I spent what felt like hours cutting out various Spellbinders snowflakes. Funnily enough none of them are on this card!!

I was inspired by a background that Kath demonstrated last year. I think she embossed the white snowflakes and that would probably have been a better idea since mine don't show up very well! I've been waiting for a chance to use this sentiment so trying out this type of background was the ideal opportunity.

I used :-
Snowflakes and sentiment :- Hero Arts.
Nestie die, ribbon and gems and Distress Ink round the edge of the Kraft card.

Very simple but I quite like it.

I'm entering the following challenges :-
Creative Inspirations :- Christmas in September.
Paperplay :- Choose a holiday - Christmas.
Secret Crafter :- Distressing. I hope you can see the distressing. I think I should have used a darker shade of Distress Ink as even in real life it's a bit faint!

I would claim to be having a more relaxing evening today but I've done my ironing first before I sat down to write this post! I made another card later last night after my marathon snowflake diecutting session but I'm keeping it for the moment. I will show it soon though but now I'm going to have a look at these snowflakes and try to come up with some more ideas for Christmas cards.

Thanks for looking a please feel free to leave me a comment if you have a minute to spare. Then I'll know I'm not speaking to myself!

Totally Gorjuss 150 - Thank You.

Good morning everyone, hope you are all well and having a lovely weekend.

I'm here with my card for this week's challenge at Totally Gorjuss. This week our challenge is "Thank You." Always a useful kind of card to have in your box so I hope a lot of you will join us this week. We're sponsored by The Hobby House this week and I'm sure you all know what lovely goodies they have.

I used :-

Totally Gorjuss 149 - Rawr!

Good morning everyone, hope you're all having a lovely weekend. I've been visiting my daughter for four days to babysit. I should be home later today though so I'll be able to catch up with what you've all been doing. I've enjoyed the time off work. Everyone says how tiring it is looking after grandchildren but it's better than the job I usually do!

But anyway here's my card for this week's challenge at Totally Gorjuss. This week our challenge is "Rawr." That worried me a bit cos I thought what kind of image have I got that would fit the challenge. Then I remembered this image. I think this cute lion might say rawr but probably not very loudly lol!

Image and corners :- Whiff of Joy.
DP and Sentiment :- LOTV.
Colouring :- Promarkers.
Buttons, Baker's Twine and pearls.

Not sure if this fits any challenges but I'll check up this evening when I'm at home. We're sponsored by Heather's Hobbie Haven so don't forget to pop over there to see what she has to tempt you.

Thanks for looking and I'll see what everyone's been doing later on.

Anybody need left-handed card?

Yes you've guessed right, I didn't check the card was the right way up when I added the embossed backing complete with image, ribbon etc!! I made this card at the crop yesterday afternoon and had to turn it into an easel card. At least nothing was wasted!

I used :-
Image :- Hero Arts.
Sentiment and Candi :- Craftwork Cards.
Snowflake :- Martha Stewart punch.
Colouring :- Promarkers.
Corners :- Whimsy die.
Ribbon, Glamour Dust and Sakura clear, glitter gel pen.

I used the glitter gel pen on the image but I'm not sure you can see it in the photo. IRL it looks lovely and sparkly. I did a lot of colouring at the crop so you can see some more Christmas cards from me in the near future. Not much this week though as we're going off on Tuesday morning to babysit for four days. We should be back on Saturday and I'm taking my laptop with me so I should be able to keep up with what's going on. I won't be able to craft though as it would be a lot of bother to take any craft stuff with me. I think the car will be a bit busy with two big dogs, their cage, food and our luggage! I wouldn't want Poppy and Oliver getting in among my Promarkers anyway so I think I'll just be a craft-free zone for 4 days!!

Thanks for looking and I hope you can find a minute to leave me a comment. Especially if you've never visited before, I love to visit new people as well as the girls who always visit me and leave me kind comments. Catch up later when I've done some ironing and made the tea.

Totally Gorjuss 148 - Pink and Green.

Good morning everyone, doesn't time pass really quickly. Not only is it Saturday again but it's time for another crop. I can't believe it's 4 weeks since the last one.

This week at Totally Gorjuss our challenge is pink and green. Isn't that a lovely colour combo? We're sponsored by Crafter's Companion this week and they've got lots of lovely new goodies! So what are you waiting for, you could win a voucher to spend in their online store.

I used my favourite snowman.

Image :- Penny Black.
DP :- Basic Grey.
Colouring :- Promarkers.
Sentiment :- Craftwork Cards.
Circle heart Nestie, Martha Stewart snowflake punch, gem, Distress Ink and Glamour Dust.

I'm entering the following challenges :-
Basic Grey :- Punch it.

Thanks for looking. I'll catch up after the crop, I'm hoping to get some more Christmas cards organised. Well if we don't do too much chatting!

Looks like his Christmas tree's too tall for his house!

I hate computers. I had this post all written ready to add to my blog and then it vanished!! So I'm not going to re-write it I'm just going to add the pic and add the post to my blog before it's any later.

I used :-
Image :- Penny Black.
Colouring :- Promarkers.
Sentiment and Candi :- Craftwork cards.
Glamour Dust, MS punch, ribbon and embossing folders.

I'm entering the following challenges :-
Penny Black and More at Allsorts :- Early Christmas.
Secret Crafter :- Animal Antics.

What day off......?

Yeah so much for my day off. Look at the time and this is me just having a chance to show you my day's work!! Today didn't really start well...... Part of my job in the post office is dealing with lottery sales and prizes. Fine, no problem normally but the other day the boss made a mistake counting some of the scratch cards. It's usually his wife, my boss who does it and my blood runs cold when I see his writing in the book. His figures are so bad as to be illegible to say the least. So I haven't been able to do the lottery for two days now. Plus on a Monday you always have to do two days so four is a lot of fun. Since we had a holiday today that means that my colleague would have had to do five days lottery tomorrow on the first day back after her holidays. I know she would have panicked and left it for me anyway so better to get it out of the road today. Then I went to Tesco for some fruit and odds and ends. Then it was time to sort the jam strawberries I bought at the farm shop yesterday. It took ages, they're so small and there were so many of them! It didn't help that because of the weather the quality wasn't brilliant and I had to do a lot of trimming and throwing out. So by the time I had my lunch and made the jam it was 3 o'clock before I sat down. Poor me, don't you feel sorry for me? Yeah right! It's my own fault it was my idea to make the jam.

Anyway enough waffle I did get a card made eventually.

I used :-
Image and DP :- LOTV.
Sentiment :- Heritage stamps.
Glamour Dust, ribbon, pearl.

I'm entering the following challenge :-
Christmas Challenges with sketches :- Sketch.

Well I'll go to bed now and catch up with you all tomorrow. Thanks for looking.

I'm Jinxed.

Why me? I made this card last night and the last thing I did was add black stickles and leave it to dry on it's own, near no-one! I went to take a photo this afternoon and it was covered in black stickles and the big butterfly had lost one of its' pearls. Why? How did this happen? I left it flat on the table and went to bed! It looked as if the stickles had been blown across the image. So nothing else to do but take it off and redo the  image. This time I used a glue pen and black glitter!

I used :-
Image :- Penny Black.
Colouring :- Promarkers and Flexmarker.
Butterflies :- Martha Stewart Punches.
Sentiment & DP :- LOTV.
Pearls :- Hobby House.
Butterflies stamped with Hero Arts Old Letter Writing and embossed in white.
Glamour Dust, black glitter and ribbon.

I'm entering the following challenges :-
Sketch Saturday :- Sketch.
In the Pink :- Things with Wings.

I'd best go and make the tea now and get my washing in. Lucky me I can do my ironing this evening. Well better that than tomorrow on my day off. Last public holiday this year. Nothing between here and Christmas.  Well I'm having a few days off to babysit this month. Some of you might say that's not a holiday but after being stuck in the post office for 2 weeks without a day off babysitting my grandkids sounds good to me.

Thanks for looking and I'll catch up later.

Totally Gorjuss 147 - Sketch.

I'm feeling quite happy today as my colleague will be back to work next week and I have a holiday on Monday. It's been a very long two weeks and I'll be glad to get back to normal and have my precious day off again on Thursday.

As it's the first Saturday in September (already!) we have a sketch for you this week at Totally Gorjuss and the ever generous Joanna Sheen is sponsoring us again.

Here's the sketch.

And here's my take on it.

I used :-
Image :- Penny Black.
Colouring :- Promarkers.
DP :- LOTV.
Sentiment and Candi :- Craftwork Cards.
Glamour Dust, Stickles, Martha Stewart punch, Nesties and gems.

Challenges for this card :-
Everybody Art :- Anything Goes.
Simon Says Stamp :- Anything Goes.

This working full time has played havoc with my crafting time but there is light at the end of the tunnel. My colleague is back next week and I have a local holiday on Monday. And my usual day off on Thursday. Great. But I'll really need all my time as the week after we're babysitting for 4 days so no chance of crafting then. I could take some images to colour but I don't fancy Poppy and Oliver getting their hands on my Promarkers!

Thanks for looking and I'll try to catch up later today.

Sympathy.

Just a quick card before I shoot off to work!

This is the sympathy card I made for my friend after the tragic death of her sister.

I used :-
Flower dies :- Memory Box.
Sentiment :- Hero Arts.
Promarker, pearls, embossing folders, ribbon and Glamour Dust.

I'd like to enter the Pink Elephant challenge :- Sympathy/Thinking of You, with this card.

It's a beautiful morning here, although I did see frost on the grass when I was out with the dogs, so I'm off to hang out my washing.

Catch you all later and thanks for looking.

Wedding Hearts.

Hi everyone. Well as you can see I'm not doing very well this week again. Can't wait for my colleague to come back from her holidays! I wouldn't mind if it was more interesting but I spend a lot of time doing nothing. Some days are worse than others! I'm always glad my day off is Thursday as it's very quiet and Friday isn't any better. It's really tiring hanging about all day. I'm on my feet most of the time as somehow as soon as I park myself on a chair someone comes in wanting a stamp!

I have managed to make one card though. One of the girls in the shop has a wedding coming up on Saturday. Second one this year! Her son got married at the beginning of June and this time it's her daughter's turn. She's getting quite stressed now so it's probably just as well she's got time off now as she'd probably be too jumpy to do much good at work. I made a card for her son so that made me stop and wonder what I gave them. My favourite images for wedding cards are usually LOTV images so I decided to do something completely different.

Mmmm I think it looks better in real life. Hope they like it. My colleague loved it as she had a sneaky peek!

I used :-
Colouring :- Flexmarker.
M-bossabilities folder, Martha Stewart punch, Nestie die, Marianne hearts die, LOTV sentiment, Glamour Dust, ribbon and gems.

Thanks for looking, hope you like? And of course thanks for any comments you have time to leave me. It's nice to get a wee bit of encouragement from fellow crafters.

Another simple Christmas card.

I haven't managed to blog much this week due to working full-time but I found this card that's only got as far as being photographed. So here it is now.

I used :-
Image :- Clarity stamps.
Colouring :- Promarkers.
Sentiment :- Heritage rubber stamp company.
Glamous Dust, Candi, gems, ribbon, tag punch.

I'm entering the following challenges :-
Cute Card Thursday :- Bling it up.
Creative Card Crew :- Christmas.

My little pile of Christmas cards is building up slowly. I've got 26 now so that's quite good for me at this time of year!

The next card I have to make is a Sympathy card. My friend's sister died in a card accident yesterday. Her neighbour phoned to tell me that they had just left in horrible rainy weather to go to be with her Mum and Dad in Aberdeen. I really feel for them all especially her niece who is just in her early teens. I sent a text to my friend and as I knew would be the case they were all in shock. I said I'd speak to her when she felt up to it. It's horrible when something like this happens.  The photos in the papers were awful. I think the weather, lots of rain and surface water, must have had a lot to do with the accident but one of the girls in the shop said that particular bit of the road had a lot of potholes too. It's only a minor road and the speed limit at that part is only 30mph so I don't imagine she or the other driver was speeding.

I'm not sure if I'm going to need another Sympathy card as one of the girls at work was convinced that a lady who's been really ill had died. I'll know tomorrow if she's right or not. I hate this because as sure as you need one Sympathy card you usually seem to need more!

Sorry to be a bit down today. It doesn't help that my nephew would have been 30 on Sunday past but he was killed on a motorbike 10 years ago on the 9th of September. I often think of him as he was just about 3 months younger than my younger daughter. He was a lovely lad and he did pack a lot into his 20 years and I'm glad I was his auntie.

Thanks for looking at my card and I'll be back tomorrow with another card and no doom and gloom.

Totally Gorjuss - 146 - Baby, Baby.

Good morning everyone hope you're all enjoying your weekend especially those of you who have the bank holiday on Monday. Needless to say I don't!! But looking on the bright side after today it's only another seven working days till I get time at home to do some housework. I dare say Irene's having a lovely time in Rhodes but I'm having a pretty boring time here. Some days have been so quiet that I've been really bored!

This week at Totally Gorjuss we have nice challenge for you. The theme is "Baby, Baby" so we'd like to see a baby card - surprise, surprise! We're sponsored by Lili of the Valley. Wish I could enter, I could easily spend money in their shop!! Here's what I made this week, hope you like it. I love this sweet LOTV image and sentiment.

I used :-
Image and sentiment :- LOTV.
Colouring :- Promarkers.
Embossing folder :- Cuttlebug.
Corners :- Whimsy.
Flowers :- Nellie Snellen punches.
Pearls :- Hobby House.
Doily, ribbon and Glamour Dust.

I enjoyed making this it's handy to have a baby card in case it's needed. This afternoon I need to make a wedding card. One of the girls at work is going to be the mother of the bride next week so it's time I got a card made for her daughter. She's had a busy year. Her son got married in June and her niece got married in the Spring. Talk about things happening in threes lol!

Thanks for looking and if you have time to leave me a quick comment I'd love to hear what you think.

Have a lovely weekend everyone.

Help......how do you stop?!!!!

Hi everyone, me again. I liked the card I did for Less is More last week so I thought I'd try another one along the same lines. I love this image, it's a really fun one. I can't resist House Mouse but I love the Gruffies too. I think I'm liking this kind of quick card!

I used :-
Image :- House Mouse - Gruffies.
Colouring :- Promarkers.
Sentiment :- Hero Arts.

I'm entering the following challenges :-
House Mouse :- Double Trouble.
Winter Wonderland :- Winter Sports
Craft Your Days Away :- Anything Goes.
Gem of a Challenge :- Animals or Teddies. Not sure if this fits?

I only managed to visit one church yesterday to see the flowers. I went to my own church and cleverly as it turned out went for my soup and sweet first in case it was so busy the food ran out! It was busy and someone said people had been coming in to see the flowers since about 10am. The floral displays were absolutely stunning. The ladies who did them are very talented. According to reports the flowers in the other churches were beautiful too. I met my neighbour who was there with friends and they'd been out and about since just after 10am and by 1pm or so they'd only managed 2 of the churches! My daughter was out from Aberdeen to have her hair cut so we went shopping so unless I can find someone who wants to see the flowers I'll have to miss the other two churches.

Thanks for looking and I'll try to catch up later. I'll need to do my ironing as usual. Then I've got two weeks full time work in front of me. Oh joy! I think it's going to be a long two weeks. Think I'll take my iPad with me and then I can at least catch up with all my favourite blogs and any DT commenting I need to do. My only problem is that by the time I get home I've usually just about lost the will to live. Not exactly conducive to crafting. But maybe I'm just being pessimistic and I'll actually manage to make some cards.

Enjoy what's left of the weekend.

Totally Gorjuss 145 - Strings the Thing.

Good morning everyone, hope the weather's better today than it was yesterday! It was really wet for most of the day and then really nice in the late afternoon and evening. After work I'm going to visit a local flower festival and have my lunch - soup and sweet while I'm there. It's being held in the three local churches and my church, Cruden Old Parish church is doing lunches. The Congregational church in Cruden Bay is doing teas and coffees etc in the morning and St James Episcopal church is doing teas and coffees in the afternoon.   I think the flowers will be amazing in all three churches. I was speaking to one of the ladies from our church and they've been working on their displays since Thursday so I hope lots of people visit all the churches.

Since it's Saturday again it's time to join us at Totally Gorjuss we'd love to see lots of you joining us for our latest challenge which is "strings the thing." Now how easy is that? We're sponsored by Heather's Hobbie Haven with $10 for the winner to spend. Here's what I made.

I used :-
Sentiment :- Hero Arts.
Embossing folder :- Cuttlebug.
Large snowflake :- Spellbinders.
Snowflake edge punch :- Martha Stewart.
Distress Ink, Glamour Dust, gems and bakers twine.

This was really easy to make. My friend gave me a shot of her snowflake die and I cut out a few so you might see some more cards using it.

I'm entering the following challenges :-
Charisma :- Monochrome.
Stampin for the Weekend :- Monochrome.

Thanks for looking and I'll be round to see what you've all been doing later. Enjoy your weekend.

Ho! Ho! Ho!

Yes you've guessed right, another Christmas card! I can never resist this cute little House Mouse image so when I saw the challenge at Less is More this week was fur or feathers I knew this image was just perfect. And since it's a one layer week too this was a really quick card.

I used :-
Image :- House Mouse.
Colouring :- Promarkers.
Sentiment :- Hero Arts.
Glamour Dust.

I'm also entering this card over at Simon says Stamp :- Animal antics.

It's a horrible day here today, just pouring! I had two very wet dogs this morning not to mention a very wet me!! I've been a good girl and done most of my housework already so now I'm off to finish my hoovering and have my lunch. This is my last day of partial freedom as my colleague is on holiday from this afternoon for two weeks. Sob! The worst part of working full time is that I get all the quiet times instead of just the quiet times I usually get. I think I might take my iPad with me and then at least I can keep up with commenting and checking out my favourite blogs.

Thanks for looking and I'll catch up with you all this evening.

Baubles and Trees - in August?

Good morning everyone. Unusual for me to be blogging on a Monday morning but I've got a day off today. It's my WRI outing this afternoon. We're going to a garden centre then to the nearest town to wander round the shops and we finish off with high tea. I'm driving as there are only 10 of us going so we just need 3 cars.

Anyway enough waffle. I thought I'd show you two cards I made at the crop on Saturday. More Christmas cards!

I used :-
Image :- Hero Arts.
Colouring :- Promarkers.
Pearls :- Hobby House.
Embossing :- Cuttlebug.
Sentiment :- Craftwork Cards.
Glamour Dust.

Image :- Hero Arts.

Embossing :- Cuttlebug.
Glamour Dust.

I'm entering the first card in the Pile it On challenge - bingo - emboss, image and pearls. And the second one in the Christmas Card Challenges - texture.

Thanks for looking and I'll try to catch up this evening.

Little Schoolgirl.

I can't believe that Poppy's starting school on Tuesday. Doesn't seem like 5 minutes since she was born never mind nearly 5 years!! Catriona's got her uniform all organised and labelled with her name ready for Tuesday. She's quite excited and really ready for school after her time at nursery. I think Oliver will really miss her. She'll be able to play schools with him and tell him what to do. Nothing new there then!!

I used :-
Image :- LOTV.
Colouring :- Promarkers.
Bunting :- Memory Box die.
Cuttlebug embossing folder, Glamour Dust, Glossy Accents for shoes, ribbon.

I think this fits the challenge at Cupcake :- Bunting.

Thanks for looking, do you think Poppy'll like her card. She usually loves the cards I make for her and Catriona ends up having to put it where she can't reach it as she carries them around and they get a bit dog-eared!

Enjoy what's left of the weekend. See you all later.

Totally Gorjuss 144 - Lacy, Lacy.

Good morning everyone (I hope) and time for another challenge at Totally Gorjuss. We're sponsored by the lovely people at Crafters' Companion. I'm sure it wouldn't be too difficult to find something to spend your voucher on! Our theme this week is "Lacy, Lacy." Now isn't that simple?

I used :-
Image :- LOTV cute square.
Sentiment and candi :- Craftwork Cards.
Embossing folders :- Cuttlebug.

No time as usual!

Well as you can see from the time I didn't have time to blog this card before I went to work this afternoon. No idea what made me think I would have time to do anything  after I finished my housework!!

I can't claim any credit for this card. I've cased a card I saw over at Less is More. It was a beautiful card Chrissie had made to inspire us for this week's challenge. I hope she doesn't mind me using her idea! I was really inspired by her card and I've got all the bits organised for several others in different colours and using different images. I'm going to a crop tomorrow so that'll give me something to do and help my very small pile of Christmas cards to grow.

Now isn't that simple? I'm quite pleased with it and if I make about half a dozen different ones I'll be happy!

I used :-
Image and sentiment :- Hero Arts.
Embossing folder :- Cuttlebug.
Colouring :- Lilac - Promarker, Pink - Spica glitter gel pen.
Glamour Dust.

Now I'm off to finish off sorting out what I need for the crop and I'd best schedule my post for Totally Gorjuss for tomorrow. Hope to see you over there.

Thanks for looking.
