Floral Frenzy at Penny Black.

Hi everyone, I don't usually post in the evening but since I've got a card made at last this week I thought I'd just show it now in case I've got something else made tomorrow. I've not been very productive since the laptop scare last week. Not sure why though I have done some knitting and made some more communion token cards.

I couldn't resist using one of my favourite Penny Black stamps when I saw that their challenge was Floral Frenzy.

I used :-
Image :- Penny Black - Poppies.
Colouring :- Promarkers.
DP :- Marianne Design.
Sentiment :- Craftwork Cards.
Flowers :- retro punches.
Glamour Dust, Sakura clear, glitter gel pen, pearls, gems and ribbon.

Challenges :-
Dream Valley :- Animals.
Hot Shot Craft :- Flowers.
Papertake Weekly :- Sketch.
Penny Black :- Floral Frenzy.
Secret Crafter :- Ribbon.
Simon Says Stamp :- Animal Antics.

Think I'll go and have a coffee now and try to get to bed earlier than usual. Catch up with you all tomorrow.

Thanks for looking.

Congratulations!

I'm a bit late at night with this but I wanted to blog it so that I can post it tomorrow. My friend's middle son is getting married next Saturday. They come from Central Scotland like me but he met his future wife when he was studying agriculture at Aberdeen University. She comes from Aberdeenshire and the wedding is nice and near for us.

I managed to make this card tonight and I'll send it to the hotel so they can get it at the reception. I can't wait to see my friend and her husband and family and of course the rest of their families. There will also be lots of people there who were in the same Young Farmers club as me too. Should be lots of fun!

So here's their card. Hope they like it and hope you like it too. I'm quite pleased with it which is unusual for me lol!

I used :-
Image :-  LOTV cute square.
Sentiment :- Craftwork Cards.
Ribbon and Flower :- The Ribbon Girl.
DP :- Tilda.
Nesties, jewels, Glamour Dust and leaf punch.

I'm entering the following challenges :-
Mojo Monday :- Sketch.
Lili of the Valley :- Celebrate.
Totally Papercrafts :- Bingo - Punches/die cuts, Flowers, Gems.
Dream Valley :- Ribbons.

Well I think that's me for now. As usual on a Sunday evening I still have some ironing to do.

Thanks for looking and I'll catch up with you tomorrow.

Totally Gorjuss 81 Water, Water.

Good morning everyone. Hope you are all looking forward to a relaxing weekend. I'm off to a crop after work today. Usually the same people go every month and some of us only see each other at the crop so it's nice to catch up.

Time for another challenge over at Totally Gorjuss. This week our theme is "water, water." We'd like to see something to do with water on your card or project. I have to admit I struggled with this one! But when I looked at my stamps I found one that seems to fit the theme perfectly.

I used :-
Image :- House Mouse - Relaxing Bubbles.
Sentiment :- Hobby Art.
DP :- Pink Petticoat.
Seam Binding :- Ribbon Girl.
Flower :- Wild Orchid Crafts.
Colouring :- Promarkers and Sakura clear glitter gel pen.
Pearls :- Hobby House.
DP :- Pink Petticoat.
Bazzill spotty card.

I'm hoping to enter the following challenges :-
Create for Fun :- Sketch.
Bunny Zoe :- Lace.
Dream Valley :- Dig out old to use with new. I dug out my Hobby Art sentiment and used that gorgeous new flower.
Ribbon Girl :- Pinks & Lilacs.
Creative Card Crew :- Cute & Girly.
Creative Inspirations Wednesday challenge :- Lace and Pearls.
Paperplay :- Sparkle Galore.
The Pink Elephant :- Favourite colour combo, a flower, patterned paper and crinkle ribbon.

Hope you like, so if you've got time to leave me a comment then I can visit you too.

I think a lot of you liked our "not square" challenge last week. Remember to pop over to Totally Gorjuss to see who won and also to check out the amazing cards my talented teamies have made this week. This week we are sponsored by Simon Says Stamp. And you know what that means! Lots of lovely stash to choose from.

Nearly forgot you can find my candy Here.

Thanks for looking and enjoy your weekend.
