Totally Gorjuss 153 - Traditional Christmas Colours.

Good morning everyone don't you just love broadband........not! I tried to schedule this as usual but my connection was very bad last night and it didn't happen. So here I am now with this week's challenge at Totally Gorjuss which is "Traditional Christmas Colours" this week. We're sponsored by Crafters Companion so I hope you can join us.

I used :-
Image and DP :- LOTV.
Sentiment and Candi :- Craftwork Cards.
Snowflakes :- Martha Stewart punches.
Glamour Dust, jewels and nesties.

I'll come back later and add some challenges as it's now 7.20am and I need to get ready for work.

Edited to add :- Thanks for nothing Mr Blogger!! Instead of posting this at 8am I found it still in draft form! I wouldn't mind if I thought I'd made a mistake but I'm sure I left it to post at 8am, I definitely don't remember seeing the word draft against the post. Still better late than never.

I'd like to enter the following challenges :-
Christmas Challenges with Sketches :- Sketch.
Simon Says Stamp :- Dies and/or punches.
Paperplay :- Simply Cute.
Creative Inspirations :- Anything Goes.
Papertake Weekly :- All Creatures Great and Small.
Craft Hazelnut's Challenge :-Snowflakes. Thanks for suggesting this Hazel.

Thanks for looking and enjoy your weekend.

  1. Hi Kat, I've just been looking through your blog at all your lovely cards after meeting you today up in Oldmeldrum. My sister and I love to have a chat with all the crafters that we meet, it's nice to see all the smiling faces loving what they do. Have a good weekend kind regards from Trish.

  2. Hi Kat, I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your day at Oldmeldrum yesterday and thanks for your lovely comments.

  3. Hi Kat, thank you for visiting my Blog, I am new to this and cannot get used to how friendly and helpful fellow bloggers are. The Advend Frame was easy to do just time consuming the only think I could not get right was the little numbers No matter how hard I tried to line them up and either punch them out or die cut them they just did not look right but as I said Christine Emberson came to my rescue.

Since I began Blogging I am spending more and more time on the IPad or PC instead of crafting but there are so many interesting people and loads of sites to visit that I would never have found had I not Blogged.

Anyway enough of me had a quick look at you posting, very quick, not enough time to see them all yet, but I like what I see and as I have seen on a few postings LOTV is a big hit. When I first began card making LOTV was the first decoupage I tried and I think I still have some around, will have to dig it out. They have come on leaps and bounds since then, so lovely, definately a buy at SECC. Patricia Duffy (Summer House Crafts)will be attending SECC on the 27th too we should all meet up to say hello but not too long there is so much to see.

Thank you for your comment. This is a bit like War and Peace sorry.

  5. What a lovely card.
I am sorry but you can not join because you did not use a stamp image on your card.
Maybe you can make a new card or join us again next week.

  7. It's a beautiful card Kat, and I love the traditional colours. Mind you, I've managed to do the dishes and make coffee whilst waiting for your blog to load up! Evening blogging is now impossible .. .. just too many people trying to access a very old connection miles away in the main village .. .. oh well, at least the housework is getting done!
