Good morning everyone and I hope you are all well this fine June Saturday. I can't believe it's June already can you. I'm really glad it's Saturday and last and I'm so looking forward to having two days holiday on Monday and Tuesday. My boss thinks it's ridiculous, businesses losing money blah, blah, blah. Don't know what she's narking about because the shop's still open as normal even though the Post Office is shut. The girls in the shop never get a Monday holiday and they don't even close earlier.
This week we have one of Net's sketches for you and our usual sponsor Joanna Sheen. I'm sure I don't need to tell you what a great variety of goodies Joanna stocks.
And here's my take on it. As you can see I've turned it round to suit my image better.
I used :-
Image :- Penny Black.
Sentiment & Candi :- Craftwork Cards.
Snowflake :- Martha Stewart punch.
Ribbon coloured with Promarker.
Cuttlebug embossing folder.
Stickles.
Does my choice of colour look a but un-Christmassy? I originally meant to use some First Edition Christmas papers which had parcels all over it. It didn't look right with this image so I decided just to keep the colour combo I'd chosen to match the paper!
Much as I like this image I'm not in any hurry to use it again. It was not a lot of fun trying to colour that sky!
Challenges for this card :-
Creative Inspirations :- Lots of sparkle.
Paperplay :- Two of something. 2 hedgies.
Oldie But a Goodie :- Anything Goes.
Well I'll let you get on girls but I'll definitely be back tomorrow with the really simple Christmas card I was going to post on Thursday. I ran out of time!
Thanks for looking and I'm looking forward to seeing how you interpret our sketch.
