This is the Christmas card I've been going to post for days now. I'm not sure what I've been doing with my time. I've visited my favourite blogs, done my DT commenting and managed to find time to read the papers but that's about it. But now I have 2 days off and I've no plans to go anywhere so maybe I'll get something done now!
I can't take any credit for this card. It was completely inspired by one that Kath made recently. I hope she doesn't mind me using her idea. The red pad was really wet and my first few tries were very wet and very red. But on the other hand I think my sentiment could have been blacker, it doesn't show up very well.
I used :-
Sentiment :- Hobby Art.
Snowflakes :- Martha Stewart punch.
Card candi :- Craftwork Cards.
Distress Ink pad in Festive Berries.
I'm entering the following challenges :-
Christmas Card Challenges :- Sentiment only.
ABC Christmas :- K for keep it simple.
Well since I've made up my mind to get some crafting done today I'm off to have a look at the papers and have my coffee before I decide what to do.
Did you watch the Pageant on the Thames yesterday. It was really spectacular in spite of the rain. The weather here in Aberdeenshire, apart from a wee shower was much better. Well apart from the cold wind. You had to admire the Queen and the Duke for the way they stood there. At the moment I'm watching a recording of "All the Queen's Horses" from ITV last night and I've just seen the Queen looking very happy watching the Mounties and listening to the Tenors.
Thanks for looking and I'll catch you all later.
