And here's the card I made for my husband for our anniversary.
I kept the card simple as I think that goes down best with men.
I used :-
Spellbinders m-bossabilities hearts folder.
Martha Stewart heart punch.
Hero Arts sentiment.
Buttons - Marianne die.
White gel pen to fake stitches on buttons.
Challenges for this card :-
Allsorts :- Card for a man or boy.
Totally Papercrafts :- No girls allowed.

I can't believe it's 36 years since we got married. It's also my birthday so he has the opportunity to forget both at the same time!! He never has funnily enough. We've just been out for a lovely meal which is a bit of a first for us! I have friends and relations who go out for a meal for birthdays or anniversaries or both but it's not something we've done very often. We all went out for a meal for our silver because my younger daughter organised it. Funnily enough Dad paid for it though!
On Saturday I had a beautiful bouquet from M&S delivered from Catriona and family. Then Mhairi appeared and she had an orchid, plus a pot to put it in and some orchid food! But biggest surprise was a Gorjuss Girls book to write in, and keep things in etc. Iain appeared yesterday too in time for our usual Saturday tea from our favourite Indian restaurant. He gave me one of those big Yankee jar candles. I also got cards from them all and work and one of my cardmaking friends. All in all a good birthday.
I've even got my ironing done already so I don't have to start doing it about 9 o'clock at night which is what often happens. My colleague is off on her hols today so that's me full-time till a week on Tuesday. Hope I can find the energy to get some crafting done.
Thanks for looking. Hope everyone's had a lovely weekend.
Lovely Anniversary card Kat, love the hearts and that embossing folder. Got one of these folders free yesterday at Elgin with Spellbinder dies. Pity they didn't have the hearts one. Happy Anniversary to you and your hubby and Happy Birthday too. Sounds like you have had a lovely weekend. Carolxx
