This week we have another easy challenge for you, a recipe. The recipe is 1,2,3, all you need to do is have eg 1 image, 2 DP or embellishments and 3 flowers or buttons or card candy or whatever. I've used 1 ribbon, 2 DPs and 3 flowers as well as 3 card candies. This week we are sponsored by Fantastic Ribbons. They have lots of goodies to tempt you so why don't you pop over for a look?

Just Cute Bears # 37 Baby Card with Gingham.

Good morning everyone and this week at Just Cute Bears we have a new challenge for you. Thanks to everyone who joined our last challenge and you can find out who the winner is over at the challenge blog if you have not been there already. This week we would like you to make a baby card and the added option is gingham, either DP or ribbon.

Here is my card and as you can see I've chosen to use gingham DP. It's always handy to have a spare baby card so why don't you join us this week. It makes a change from Christmas cards which is what I've been doing recently.

I've used :-
Image :- Forever Friends.
DP :- Craft Creations.
Colouring :- Promarkers, Sakura clear glitter gel pen.
Flowers :- Wild Orchid Crafts.
Sentiment :- Craftwrok Cards.
Pearls :- Hobby House.
Leaf punch, ribbon.

I'm going to enter some challenges with this card :-
Pollycraft :- Anything Goes.
Crafty Creations :- Sketch plus use ribbon or lace.

That's it then girls I hope you'll join us this time. You have two weeks to enter. I enjoyed visiting your blogs and seeing your cards with all the bling and swirls and I'm looking forward to seeing your baby cards.

Enjoy what's left of your weekend. After a week of full time work I'm looking forward to working fewer hours this week. At the end of the week we have 2 days of babysitting so I'm really looking forward to that.

Here Comes Summer!

Only one day of the weekend left now and I hope you have all had a nice one. I had a lovely time yesterday at a demo at Simply Create at Alford. The one and only Kath was demoing Hero Arts stamps and Distress Inks. I'm full of enthusiasm now and hope I can catch up with DT work and have a play. But I digress!!

This week at Just Cute Bears our challenge is Here comes Summer. Now you might be thinking "what Summer?" Well if it's not too good where you are you might just have to use your imagination!

I think this cute Penny Black bear just says "Summer." Look at him, doesn't he look as if he's enjoying himself? Lying in the sunshine in his hammock with a lovely cold drink lol!

I used :-
Image :- Penny Black - kickin'
DP :- Wild Rose Studio.
Roses :- Wild Orchid Crafts sprayed with Glimmer Mist.
MS punch.
Jewels, Sakura clear glitter gel pen and clear gel pen, ribbon from stash.
I'm going to enter some challenges with this card :-
Totally Papercrafts :- Animal Magic.
Papertake Weekly :- Sketch plus lemon and lilac.
Pollycraft :- Ribbon and Bling.
I hope I've got this right now! That's the trouble with scheduling a post, you're never sure you've done everything properly until it's actually posted.
This is a nice easy challenge so I hope a lot of you want to take part. As usual you're welcome to combine it with as many other challenges as you like.
Enjoy what's left of the weekend.

Just Cute Bears#7 "for Mum"

Well for the second time this weekend I am relying on Mr Blogger to be a good boy and publish this post at 9am this morning! By the time this is posted I will be well on my way to the SECC in Galsgow to the craft show. My friend and I have been looking forward to this since the last show in October. At that time my daughter's baby was due any time! In reality he was born on the 9th of November, 2 weeks late and now he is almost 17 weeks and getting really big.

But about this card! It is for challenge no. 7 over at Just Cute Bears where the challenge this week is something for Mum. I've used some more K&Co DP....love the colours in this pad. The sweet image is "The bear" from Hobby Art and he has been coloured with Promarkers. I used some lovely flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and I've glittered them and the butterfly with a Sakura clear glitter gel pen. The flowers in the image are topped with a Sakura clear gel pen. I used a MS punch to cut out some leaves. I finished off with some glittery jewels and glittery ribbon. The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards.

Hope you like and I'll try to have a look at your entries later today if I'm not too shattered. In reality I'll probably have a look around tomorrow. If you pop over to the challenge blog at Just Cute Bears you can see what my talented teamies have made for your inspiration this week.

And of course you probably want to know what the prize is this week. Well again we are sponsored by the incredibly generous people at Cuddly Buddly. We are very lucky to have such a generous sponsor and are very grateful to them. I can tell you that they have lots more than just the lovely stamps we have been lucky enough to give to our winner every week. You can also buy digi downloads. I can really recommend their papers, they are just gorgeous and you get lots of different designs in every set. You can also buy ribbons, punches, dies.........etc. But don't just take my word for it, pop over and see for yourselves.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
