Wow I don't know when I ever made a card as quickly as this one. I really wanted to do the Just Magnolia challenge but I didn't think I had time. I'll be back later to explain it!!
Almost 10pm now and I'm back from a lovely afternoon out. We were at a nice new garden centre in Royal Deeside where we had our coffee and what we call in Aberdeenshire "a fine piece"- in my case a lovely cheese scone. We had a walk round and some people bought some plants etc but some of them were very different from the usual garden centre and VERY expensive. To be fair most things were the same price as everywhere else it's just that they had things you don't see anywhere else. Then we went to Banchory and had a wander round the shops. I found a craft shop but it was a bit limited so I didn't buy very much. Then we had a lovely tea at a hotel in Banchory. And went home the scenic route ie not through Aberdeen!!
But I digress. I need to tell you about the card. I made this card and photographed it and posted it in not much more than an hour. Very quick for me. I usually mess around for ages trying to choose papers and flowers and the right image and what nestie to use and whether to watercolour or use Promarkers. I decided quickly to use the lovely Tilda image, which I watercoloured. I used my Cuttlebug to cut out a label. Then I had to just try to draw a bigger label on the pink card. Think it turned out not too bad even if I was in a hurry! The papers are Basic Grey sultry which are just gorgeous. I found a piece of pink card just the right colour and used it for the base card and for layering. I put an eyelet in the hole in the label and added a piece of ribbon from my stash that was just the right colour. Flowers and jewels are from my stash. Hope you like!
