Totally Gorjuss 103 - Pastel Christmas.

Good morning everyone Saturday at last and time for another challenge over at Totally Gorjuss. This week our challenge is "Pastel Christmas." Well as you may have noticed Christmas cards are right up my street at the moment. And I do like to use colours that are a bit different from traditional red and green.

I used :-
Image:- LOTV.
Sentiment and Card Candi :- Craftwork Cards.
Background paper stamped with 2 Hero Arts stamps and Stampin' Up! Certainly Celery & Lavender Lace.
Snowflakes :- Cuttlebug and Martha Stewart.
Colouring :- Promarkers.
Ribbon, gems, twine and Glamour Dust.

I'm entering the following challenges :-
Crafting When We Can :- Christmas come early.
Ribbon Girls :- Lilac and Green.

I was early this week getting my card made but left it till last night to schedule this post. And of course it was a nightmare with my dreadful internet connection. Took ages to load the pic! But it worked eventually thank goodness. Think I'll need to get my post scheduled earlier next week. My colleague is on holiday and then oh joy she's leaving to look after her Mum. Luckily I had the Monday after that booked. I'm going to the craft show at the SECC on the 30th and I need to have the Monday to recover and look at my new stash lol. So she's still going to work for me. So next week I'm going to be training my new colleague. My boss has managed to persuade one of the girls who works in the shop to work in the Post Office too. So at least it's someone I know. Not sure I'm very good at training someone else! This is the 4th time I've had to do this. It's really quite difficult to show someone else how to do something that's mostly automatic. But I'll do my best. Not the best time of year to start working in a post office but I'm sure she'll get on fine. She's often been in sole charge of the shop when the bosses are on holiday after all.

Thanks for looking and hope you likey. I'll try to catch up with everyone later after work.

Oops I forgot the important bit! We're sponsored by Lili of the Valley this week and I could easily find something to buy there any time! Unfortunately I can't win so I'll just have to buy something at the SECC next week. Well it would be rude not to, wouldn't it lol?!

Enjoy your weekend whatever you've got planned.

  9. Lovely card Kat, beautiful colour palette. I know what you mean about training someone; a friend of mine had a severe stroke (at 58) and I help him once a week - you have to be absolutely precise with your instruction, you don't realise how many gaps you fill in for yourself when you do a task you've done many times. I'm sure you'll be fine, and it does make you realise how much you know, lol. Dee
