Vintage Christmas for Simply Create.

Surprise, surprise! Well me posting again today is a bit surprising. I've been quite industrious recently. I've done quite a lot with my Simply Create DT kit and I've still got loads left. I went to a crop after work yesterday but Mr Blogger had been so bad on Friday evening when I was trying to visit blogs, do DT commenting and upload photos for yesterday's and today's scheduled posts that I gave up in disgust. So I wasn't really in the mood to try to find stuff to take to the crop and ended up taking wool and knitting needles. I'm quite pleased because I managed to get about half of the back of Oliver's  jumper knitted.

But I'm waffling...again! My DT kit is vintage Christmas. Now anyone who knows me knows I don't do vintage anything never mind Christmas. So to say I'm not entirely happy with my cards is a bit of an understatement lol. But here it is. Does it look like a Christmas card to you? I'm just not sure at all.

The image is from a sheet full of images, all I had to do was cut it out and do a little matting. I think the DP is just perfect for the image and I finished with a sentiment from Craftwork cards and some pearls from the Hobby House.

I'm going to enter the following challenges :-
Papertake Weekly :- Sketch.
Charisma Cardz :- Vintage.

  1. Hi Kat,

I know I owe you an email as promised and will be sending it asap, like you, I have been having probs with my PC but mine are to do with my own computer, I thought it had a virus but it seems my graphic card is on its way out, its all mumbojumbo to me, Pete has done a repair but I have a feeling its going to go off on one when he's at work so I am just glad he's got a few long weekends at home over the next few weeks....

I just finished a card for CCM's challenge with freebies, I haven't entered many lately....I am just on my way around all the DT gals, praying my computer holds out...lol

I really love your card, the image is so sweet, it has a vintage feel I am so into at the moment...I love the colours and the easel stand you have used to show off your design

I hope all is good with you and your enjoying your newest DT position...

    Take care and speak soon
