I made this card yesterday for the Sugar Bowl challenge. I love Judy's great sketch, it was really easy to work with. I used some lovely pink card for the base card and for layering. The papers are Basic Grey sultry, aren't they gorgeous? After having a go at using my new mini sewing machine last week I decided to use it again for this card. I used the lovely "Poppies" Gorjuss Girl from Sugar Nellies which is coloured with Promarkers and highlighted with a white Inkssentials gel pen. I think she would be perfect for a card for my little grand daughter, Poppy lol. The challenge is to include hand made flowers. I made these flowers using a punch andmy nesties shapeabilities flower bouquet miniabilities. I embossed them on the wrong side before putting them together and then added a little flower shaped brad. I used some of the DPs and plain pink card to make them. The brads and jewels are from my stash.Has anyone heard of the Christmas RAK club? I have a link to it in my sidebar. I first read about it on Angela at Sparkly Cards blog.
