Totally Gorjuss 41 - Baby, Baby.

Well good morning girls and welcome to the weekend and another challenge over at Totally Gorjuss. Thanks to everyone who joined us last week and remember to pop over to the challenge blog to see who one last week's challenge.

Now I don't want to be a drama queen but I really thought I wasn't going to be able to post my card. I had it all made last night. Luckily it came together quite quickly as I lost my day off yesterday as my colleague is on holiday. I took a photo this morning before work while it was nice and bright and thought all I had to do was upload it to the DT blog and write my scheduled post on my own blog. Didn't happen!!! I've spent the whole evening trying to get onto my blog. The signal kept disappearing and even when I was supposed to be online I couldn't get onto this site or any other one. I got a bit panicky but then I thought well if I have to be late it can't be helped for once. I'm sure Net would have understood. Luckily way after 10pm I could get a signal that stayed on. Panic over and I quickly posted my card on the DT blog for Net to find. Phew, what a relief!!!!

But enough waffle. This is my baby card. I decided to make a pink one because even though I have pink, blue and even lilac in my box I need a pink one for my friends who have just become grandparents to a gorgeous baby gir and of course one for the proud parents their son and daughter-in-law and the big sister.

This is the inside which for once I've taken the time to decorate because I'm intending to enter the Gem of a Challenge. I've used their sketch and they also want us to decorate the inside.
I used:-
Image :- Pink Gem.
Sentiment :- Penny Black.
Flowers :- Prima.
DP :- Craft Creations.
Card Candy :- Craftwork Cards.
Colouring :- Promarkers, Distress ink.
Nesties, Sakura clear gel pen and clear glitter gel pen.
The other challenge I would like to enter is Paperplay which is anything goes.
I hope you like! This is one of my favourite images for a baby card, that baby is so cute. I hope you can find time to leave me a little comment and that you'll want to pop over to Totally Gorjuss to see what gorgeous baby cards my talented teamies have made. I'm looking forward to visiting your blogs to see your baby cards too.
Enjoy your weekend.

Summer Days!

Well girls I don't know how some of you manage to work full-time and find time to craft. This is my 3rd day of it and still 9 days to go! I really don't like it but since I don't have a choice I'll just have to put up with it! At least Wednesday is a half day in the Post Office so I had some time to make a card this afternoon. Well I did when I eventually managed to get out of the shop. Just before I finished it started raining really heavily! Even though my car was only a few yards away I definitely didn't fancy going out in it!

I'm really glad to get something made at last. I should probably have done my DT cards but I just wanted to enter the first Penny Black at Allsorts challenge which is a burst of Summer colour.

I think it looks quite Summery, it's certainly nice and bright lol!

I'm also entering these other challenges :-
Bunny Zoe's Crafts :- Summer days.
Friday Sketchers :- Sketch.
Basic Grey :- Stitching.
Crafty Creations :- Summer Lovin'.

I used :-
Image :- Penny Black.
DP :- Basic Grey.
Colouring :- Promarkers andDistress Inks plus precision pen for faux stitching.
Card Candy :- Craftwork Cards.
Sakure clear glitter gel pen for butterflies.
Jewels and flowers from stash.
Now I think I should make a start on some of my DT work.

Quixotic #33 Make it miniature.

Hi everyone I made this tiny little card last night for the Quixotic Paperie challenge. It sure is small, only 3 inches square! When I saw the challenge I wondered how I could make something small enough! Then I remembered that I'd bought a couple of Paper Makeup stamps from Quixotic Paperie a wee while ago. I think this lovely sentiment is just perfect for a baby gift card.

I used :-
Sentiment :- Paper Makeup.
DP :- Craft Creations.
Distress Ink in Spun Sugar for the edges.
Nesties, jewels, flower.
I'm quite pleased with this little gift card, I think it's quite cute and quick and easy to make.
I'm writing this on Sunday evening and scheduling it for Monday morning so I'd best do my ironing now. Lucky me I'm working full time for the next two weeks. Yuk. I wouldn't mind if I could do something useful when I'm standing in the post office with nothing to do! On Mondays I usually read the Sunday paper as well as the Monday papers lol!
Hope your week goes well whatever you're doing.

Just Cute Bears #27 "Bear Necessities."

Good morning girls and it's time for another challenge over at Just Cute Bears. This week our challenge is "Bear Necessities" in other words we would like to see your clean and simple cards.

This week we are sponsored by the lovely Paula from Pollycraft who is offering two prizes this week.

Here are the prizes from her latest Cuthbert and Kiki range. Aren't they lovely? So we'll have two lucky winners this week.

So here's my clean and simple card. Feels funny not to add flowers or buttons or ribbon but clean and simple it is!

I used:-

Image :- Forever Friends.

Colouring :- Promarkers.

Card Candy :- Craftwork Cards.

Cuttlebug embossing folder and die.

When I made this card I didn't know of any challenges it fitted but I've found some now!

Charisma Cardz :- Anything but a square.

Everybody Art :- Blue and white.

Allsorts :- Baby/child.

Creative Inspirations :- Anything goes.

Stampavie and more :- Anything goes.

I think that's all that I can say about this card. It's pretty plain but quite effective I think. I hope you can pop over to see what my talented teamies have made this week, you won't be disappointed.

I'm looking forward to popping over to your blogs during the week to see how you've interpreted our challenge. I always enjoy seeing what everyone else is doing.

Enjoy what's left of the weekend.

Crafty Cardmakers 25 - Easel Card.

Is the weekend really over already? It always seems to pass so quickly doesn't it? Still if it's Monday it must be time for my first DT card for the Crafty Cardmakers challenge. This is challenge 25 part 2. This week is spotlight week and this time it is easel cards in the spotlight.

I wanted to make a different shape from the usual square. Nothing wrong with a square because a square easel card looks quite impressive. I just wanted to make something different. Silly me! I've made an easel card using nesties but even the biggest nestie doesn't make a very big card. So I decided to make a hexagonal card. But this is not as easy as it sounds!! I won't bore you by telling you how long it took me to draw a "perfect" hexagon. I'll only say that I'm very picky about thinks looking right lol! Those of you who remember doing maths at school will know that you can easily draw a hexagon by drawing a circle first and then using your compass to mark six point on the circle etc. I would have got on better if my compass had not been rubbish and kept moving. Eventually I managed to draw a template for the card and another slightly smaller for the DP.

I used the template to cut out the card by placing it against a fold and drawing round it and cutting it out. I made/a> another hexagon for the front of the card. Then I used the sketch from Crafty Creations to decorate the card.

I used:-
Image :- Forever Friends.
DP :- Basic Grey Kioshi.
Colouring :- Promarkers for image and Distress Inks for edges, card candy and large heart on base.
Sentiment and card candy :- Craftwork Cards.
Lace :- Quixotic Paperie.
Stickles, buttons and string.
All the edges are inked with Bundled Sage Distress Ink plus the large punched heart on the base and the card candy. The edge of the heart is also stickled.
I hope you like my card and please let me know what you think of it if you have time. Please also pop over to my talented teamies blogs and see what gorgeous easel cards they have made. Easel cards are really easy to make and they always look impressive. If you're not sure how to make one pop over to the Crafty Cardmakers blog where there is a very clear tutorial on how to make an easel card.
Looking forward to seeing all your easel cards. I've enjoyed looking at the cards you've made for the first challenge using the photo for inspiration.

Just Cute Bears #26 Christmas in July.

I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend wherever you are and whatever the weather has been like! It has been a bit mixed here. Saturday was fine, but.......there were some little showers. Quite a fine evening here as I write on Saturday evening. A bit windy but at least I am indoors not trying to play golf like the guys taking part in the Open golf at St Andrews!!

Thanks to everyone who took part in our last challenge over at Just Cute Bears, as usual there were some gorgeous cards. This week our challenge is "Christmas in July." This should give you a wee start with your Christmas cards, unless of course you have been very good and been making one every week. No I haven't either! I made two at a crop yesterday but they're not for me to keep unfortunately. Anyway here's my card and I hope you like it. My talented teamies have made some gorgeous cards and they'd be delighted if you popped over to their blogs and left them a comment.

I used :-

DP :- Bo Bunny.

Image :- LOTV.

Colouring :- Promarkers.

Sentiment and card candy :- Craftwork Cards.

Viva Decor gloss pen for snowflakes, Stickles, jewels and ribbon.

I'm also going to enter a few challenges with this card :-

Lili of the Valley :- Sketch and image.

Enjoy what's left of your weekend.

Saturday 17 July 2010

Red and White Christmas.

Just a quick post to let you see what I made at a crop this afternoon. I've got a couple of DT posts to schedule for tomorrow and Monday but I couldn't resist showing you these cards. I think I'm on a roll this week lol! I got my 3 DT cards made in time instead of being at the last minute. Hope I can get on as well this week. On Thursday I made 2 DT cards and 2 for Jacqui at Simply Create. And today another 2 for Jacqui - this time Christmas cards!

I don't usually achieve much at a crop because I don't get there till after my work so making 2 whole cards and colouring another 4 images is quite good for me. And of course you have to have a look round the shop to see if there are any new goodies you want.....oops need!

I used :-
Image :- House Mouse.
DP :- Magnolia.
Colouring :- Promarkers and Distress Inks.
Sentiment and card candy :- Craftwork Cards.
MS punch. pearls, jewels and ribbon.
I used :-
Image :- Ready coloured LOTV die cut with added snowflakes.
Sentiment and card candy :- Craftwork cards.
Swiss dots folder instead of DP.
Snowflakes - Viva Decor opaque gloss gel pen.
Glamour dust for fur on his hat.
Ribbons and jewels.
I'm entering the Die Cute Dreams Christmas Club challenge :- Santa with the first card. Although I've got a Santa on both cards really!
Hope you like! I'd be really pleased if you have time to leave me a comment as I'm always encouraged by your feedback!

Totally Gorjuss 39 - Thinking of You.

Time for another challenge at Totally Gorjuss. Thanks to everyone who entered last week. We had some amazing entries for our water, water challenge last week. I hope you'll want to enter our challenge this week.

This week our challenge is "Thinking of You." This can interpreted as a Sympathy card or just a card to let someone know you are just thinking of them.

I used :-
Image:- Penny Black from the flowers and wishes clear set.
Sentiment :- Hero Arts.
DP :- Basic Grey and Wild Rose Studio.
Colouring :- Promarkers and Distress Inks.
Card Candy :- Craftwork Cards.
Pearls :- Hobby House.
Martha Stewart butterfly punch.
I'm entering a few challenges with this card:-
Basic Grey :- Gingham.
Charisma :- Pink.
Colour Create:- Warm pink, chocolate brown and white.
Paperplay :- Sketch.
Creative Inspirations challenge blog :- something old from stash - I've had the pink, white and brown Basic Grey DP for a while.
What do you think girls? Is it suitable for a Sympathy card? I think it's also light enough to be just a card to get in touch with a friend. It's a useful sort of card to have around as a just in case card. I hope you'll want to join in with us again this week. I'm looking forward to seeing your new creations. If you've got time to leave me a comment I'd be really pleased. I'm always encouraged by what you have to say about my efforts and I'm sure my talented teamies would be pleased to hear from you too.

Enjoy your weekend, hope it's good whatever you do.

Friday 16 July 2010

Penny Black meets Simply Create.

I'm not really at the last minute for the Penny Black challenge LOL! I had a card made last night but left it till today in the hope of getting a better photo. But the weather was against me. It was dull and dismal, then by the time I took the dog out it was really nice. By the time I hung up my washing it was dull again. Then it rained. When I went to work it was still not very nice. During the afternoon it turned really nice and it's still bright now! Unfortunately I ran out of time to post this before work. I knew it was a mistake to do all that housework!

Enough waffle though. I loved using that sketch over at the Penny Black challenge that I made another very similar card. Jacqui at Simply Create at Alford (not my local craft shop but not too far away) is looking for red and white cards to sell for Save the Children and she is offering a prize of £50 to spend in her shop. If you can't get there she will post £50 of goodies to you. 4th September is a special day at her shop and I've arranged a day off so I can go!

This is my card for the challenge over at Penny Black. I stamped the image twice and 3D'd the flower and the bud. I also added some black stickles for some dimension too.

And this is a very similar one as I had another image stamped and it was nice and quick to make another one.

I used:-
Image:- Penny Black from clear set flowers and wishes.
DP :- Basic Grey basics white.
Sentiment and card candy :- Craftwork Cards.
Colouring :- Promarkers and Distress Inks.
Martha Stewart edge punch.
Ribbon, string, flowers, pearls and button from stash.
I'm off to enter the challenge now and do my DT commenting and schedule some posts. And then I need to decide what I'm doing tomorrow at a crop at my local craft shop.
Enjoy the weekend, hope the weather improves!

Sunday 11 July 2010

Lachlan's Birthday Card.

Lachlan is my lovely soon to be 15 year old nephew (great actually). His Mum is my eldest niece and they live on the beautiful Isle of Lewis off the west coast of Scotland. Angela says she is the little one now as Lachlan is 6ft, Niall is 6ft 2 and Donald is 6ft4. Angela is quite tall herself and so is her husband.
I used :-
Image :- Beach Mikey a coloured digi image from Charmed Cards and Crafts.
Sentiment and card candy :- Craftwork Cards.
DP :- Wild Rose Studio - for men.
Colouring :- Distress Inks for edges and Promarker to colour card candy.
Nesties, small circle punch (to make buttons), string and ribbon.
I am entering some challenges :-
The Pink Elephant :- 3 layers, 2 die cuts and ribbon.
Sketch Saturday :- Sketch.
Crafty Creations :- Make your own buttons.
So that's the weekend over again already and tomorrow is a full day at work...yuk. So I'd best go and iron a couple of things I need for tomorrow.

Just Cute Bears #25 Helen's Sketch.

This week at Just Cute Bears we have a lovely sketch from our talented teamie Helen. I love this sketch, thanks Helen.

This week we are sponsored by MELJEN'S DESIGNS and the lucky winner will get 3 lovely bear images. Hope you cand find time to enter!

I was a bit last minute making my card yesterday evening as we had to go out and buy a new dishwasher. I checked out all the usual places.......Argos, Comet, Tesco direct and John Lewis. The idea of going into Aberdeen, where there are lots of road works and delays, was not attractive. So I said to my husband maybe we could phone a local store and see what they had. They had 3 integrated models so we set off for a look. The last one of the one I really wanted had just been sold so I took another one rather than wait. And the best of it was that it was £20 cheaper than exactly the same one in Argos. So much for Argos being cheap! And the best of it was that about 5 minutes after we had paid for it it was in the back of our car. Wonderful what you can get in a Golf lol!

But I'm rambling!! Here is my interpretation of Helen's sketch. This was so easy and quick to put together. And you can dress it up with flowers or jewels or ribbon or bows or all three like me or leave it quite plain for a male card. Either way you can make a great card in no time at all. Hope you like what I've made and if you can find time to leave me a quick comment I'd be really happy.

I used :-

Image :- Forever Friends.

DP :- MME quite contrary (free in a magazine last week.)

Sentiment & card candy :- Craftwork Cards.

Flowers, jewels andribbon from stash.

If you can find time to visit my talented teamies and tell them what you think of their cards they will all be really pleased too. As usual I'm looking forward to seeing what you all do with our challenge this week.

Enjoy what's left of the weekend. I know you girls down south have been having really warm weather recently. Too warm for some of you I know. We've not been so lucky up here in north east Scotland. Today in particular has been really miserable and wet and drizzly and rainy and just yucky. Hope it improves again soon because we've had quite a lot of nice warm days!

Saturday 10 July 2010

Totally Gorjuss 38 - Water, Water.

Good morning everyone and it's time for another challenge over at Totally Gorjuss. This week our challenge is "water, water." We'd like to see water in one form or another on your card.

I have to admit I did struggle a bit here. I couldn't think what image I had that had water on it. Then I remembered I had a Hobby Art Bear in a bath or this Penny Black cat in a bath. I love this image, I think the cat looks as if she's enjoying her bath and does that look like pink champagne (or maybe just rose wine)?

I was running a bit late hence just a simple card. I wasted a lot of time this morning......when I should have been doing housework....trying to draw a hexagon. Not for this I hasten to add but all will be revealed soon lol!

I used :-

Image :- Penny Black.

DP :- Basic Grey Kioshi.

Senitment and card candy :- Craftwork Cards.

Nesties and stickles, flowers and jewels from stash.

I'm also entering the Sketch and Stash challenge. My new unused stash is this lovely Penny Black image. I just love the expression on that cat's face and I think the mouse looks pretty happy too lol!
Hope you like and I'm looking forward to seeing how you interpret our challenge this week. If you have time I'd love to hear what you think of my little card. And please try to pop over to my talented teamies blogs to see what they've made this week. We have to new GDTs this week who are both very talented ladies and I'm sure you'll love what they've done too.

By the way did you notice my new watermark? I bought it from Whimsy Stamps. Vicky gave the link on her blog recently and I had been wanting to have a watermark so I couldn't resist checking it out. It's quite easy to use after you have done it once. It's just a matter of remembering to add it to your photos! I bought a signature too and it's even easier to use. If I can do it anyone can lol

Friday 9 July 2010

Pink Gem Candy.

Janet at Pink Gem is offering some lovely candy to one luck person. Don't hang about, pop over to her blog to find out more about this lovely candy.

Thursday 8 July 2010

Blue and White.

Hi girls, it's me again. Can't believe I'm posting for the second time today. I seem to be into monochrome today. First red and white and now blue and white. I thought I'd like to enter the Stamp Something challenge. This week they want us to use the colours of our flag. I'm Scottish and my flag is the Saltire or flag of St. Andrew which is blue and white.

I used :-
Image :- Story Time from a die cut sheet from LOTV.
Colouring :- Distress Ink round the edges.
Sentiment :- Craftwork Cards.
Pearls :- Hobby House.
Ribbon and lace from my stash.
DP :- Papermania Pastel collection.
I'd also like to enter the Pollycraft as I used their lovely sketch.
Lace and ribbon also fits the challenge at One Stitch at a Time.
I'd best go now and finish making the tea and walk the dog as I'm going out tonight to craft with friends.
Kat xx

Red and white today.

I thought I'd share a card I made yesterday. My friend came round and we were making cards for Jacqui at Simply Create. I have another one that I'm still fighting with! Maybe later as I really need to get my DT cards made. I've been faffing about this morning trying to add a watermark to my card. Unfortunately this card's a bit white to see it very well lol! I've already added a signature to my posts but I think I may have done something wrong cos all that showed up on my post was the code. So I took the signature code off again!

I used :-

Image :- Delicate Blossoms from Hero Arts.

Colouring :- Promarkers an Distress Inks.

Nesties Swiss Dots folder, Martha Stewart edge punch.

Ribbon from Stash.

Hope you like this little card. I've not added a sentiment yet but I think it would do for a few different occasions. Back later with something else....I hope!

Uncle Bill's Birthday Card.

I've not really achieved much on my day off but at least I've got a card made for my lovely Uncle Bill's 90th birthday. Uncle Bill loves his golf so I wanted to do something golf orientated. Luckily I had Popcorn bear with his golf clubs. Unfortunately it is a very big stamp and I didn't have a big enough block. I did find something suitable eventually but the image is so big I struggled a bit wondering how to make a card especially since I thought I'd best make an A5 one. I don't usually make big cards unless it's for a very special occasion. Reckon this is a pretty special occasion though. I found a great sketch from Sketch Saturday which solved my layout problem. I stamped Popcorn 3 times so I could 3d him.

I used :-

Image and sentiment :- Popcorn Bear.

Colouring :- Promarkers and Distress Inks (for edges).

DP :- Craft Creations and Wild Rose Studio.

Buttons, string, ribbon and 90 peeloff from stash.

Challenges I'm entering :-

Sketch Saturday :- Sketch..........

Passion for Promarkers Think of a number.

I'm quite pleased with how this turned out...for once. I took some pics and then realised that I'd forgotten to colour the grass lol! So I had to delete them and take more. Trust me. I've another three cards half made but I'd best check if there are any entries to comment on for my DTs and maybe have a wee look at my favourite blogs.

I'm a lot later sitting down tonight than I'd hoped. My daughter appeared for tea and to do her washing and then she wanted to make meringues so I had to "advise" her about that. I also had to wash the dishes. That might sound strange but I have a dishwasher and it's misbehaving. To say the least! My husband thought it was leaking so he hauled it out yesterday to check. It was! So he mopped up, found a wee hole in the hose and fixed it. Switched it on last night and nothing happened. So I had whole pile of washing this morning. The fridge-freezer in the kitchen has been leaking a bit now and then but he's convinced it was just ice so he removed a lot of ice from the bottom of it yesterday and fingers crossed it's ok. To complete his happiness yesterday he went into the garage and there was water all over the floor in front of the tumble drier!! Luckily it only needed emptied. I haven't been using it because the weather has been so nice but yesterday it rained so I put towels in it. Of course my daughter doesn't hang out washing because it wastes your clothes (???) and she uses the drier when she's out here washing. Silly me I should have remembered that it never occurs to her to empty the water out! At least I don't need a tumble drier or a fridge-freezer but Imight need a dishwasher. Fantastic!! I need to check out the sales.

Sorry to bore you girls especially since I should be doing something more useful lol.

I hope my Uncle Bill likes his card and I hope you like it too. If you could spare a minute to leave me a comment I'd be very grateful. I value the opinions of my fellow crafters. If I ask my husband he always says my cards are really nice! Which is nice of him but a bit biased don't you think?

See you all tomorrow I hope.

Just Cute Bears #24 Decoupage.

Hi everyone and over at Just Cute Bears we have another challenge for you. This week we would like to see some decoupage on your card. I have to say that this is something I don't do very often and when I was in the middle of this card I remembered why lol!! I was going to do Popcorn Bear with golf clubs and give it to my uncle who will be 90 next Sunday. He's amazing, he's always liked his golf and the last I heard he was still playing! He is my lovely Dad's little brother and he's a lovely, lovely man. His sister will be 94 in September and she's quite a character. My dear Dad died of a heart attack when he was 74 or he would have been 98.

I think I will still do Popcorn for my Uncle Bill but probably not 3d him. I can't think of anything else I have that would do.

But on to my card for Just Cute Bears. I used this lovely image of bears in their bath from the Gruffies "Beary Good Times" decoupage set from Joanna Sheen. I love the designs but I don't really like putting them together as there are sometimes some very skinny pieces and I was using sticky pads. Have you ever tried to cut one of the teeny weeny pads in half. It's a lot of fun I can assure you! It's also quite difficult to photograph without showing the sticky pads. I should really use glue not sticky pads but it's done now. I'll remember next time!

So here's my card and I hope you like it.

I used :-

Image & sentiment :- Gruffies Beary Good Times decoupage from Joanna Sheen.

DP :- Wild Rose Studio.

Card candy :- Craftwork Cards coloured with Promarker to match.

Stickles for bubble bath.

I've kept this very simple as it's such a big image.

I'd also like to enter some challenges with this card :-

ABC :- X for extra dimension.

Simon Says Stamp :- Check it out - use gingham or checks.

A Spoon Full of Sugar :- Animal Crackers.

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge :- Water, water.

I hope you'll manage to find time to check out Just Cute Bears to see what my talented teamies have made this week. We also have a GDT this month. The very talentedRebecca is joining us every week in July. Please pop over to her blog if you have time, you will not be disappointed.

Thanks for looking and it would be lovely if you have time to tell me what you think and of course I could visit your blog too.

Enjoy what's left of your weekend.

Saturday 3 July 2010

She's so cute!

I love House Mouse images and this is one of my favourite images to make a new baby card. Isn't this a cute mousie baby?

The House Mouse Challenge this week is for something new so I decided to make a new baby card. I used the great sketch from Cupcake Craft Challenge.

I used :-

Image :- House Mouse - Baby Blocks.
DP :- Wild Rose Studio.
Colouring :- Promarkers, Spica Glitter Gel pen and Distress Ink in Spun Sugar for edges.
Flowers :- Wild Orchid Crafts.
Pearls :- the Hobby House.
Doiley :- Joanna Sheen.

I'm not sure about the way I've coloured the blocks but apart from that I quite like how this card turned out. Hope you like it and can find time to leave me a comment. I'm always encouraged by the kind comments people leave and it's nice to be able to visit you in turn and see what you've been making. I made this card on Saturday as well as my DT card for Just Cute Bears and I'm really pleased to have managed to make two cards in one day. I still need to make another Sympathy card or probably two would be better so I'll have a spare one. I also need to make my Uncle's card and one for a teenage nephew. But I have a day off on Monday so hopefully I can have a good day crafting then!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Totally Gorjuss 37 - Sketch.

Hi girls time for another challenge over at Totally Gorjuss. This week we have a great sketch from Net. You can use it as it is or turn it round to suit yourself as long as we can see the original sketch. This week we are sponsored by Joanna Sheen who has a great online shop and no p&p.
And this is what I've done with the sketch. Hope you like it.

I used :-
Image :- Daisy from Sugar Nellies.
DP :- K&Co.
Colouring :- Promarkers and Distress Inks.
Sentiment and cardcandy :- Craftwork Cards.
Jewels from stash, nesties.
I'm also entering some challenges with this card :-
Pollycraft :- Pinkalicious.
Totally Papercrafts :- One for the girlies.
Sir Stampalot :- Summer Days.
Hope you have a lovely weekend girls. The weather forecast for us up here in Scotland is not so good. On the bright side it's not so bad for us over in the East as it is for the West so fingers crossed.

Penny Black 107

Good evening everyone. After trying to take a decent photo of this card this evening I wish I had finished the card this morning and taken the photo when it was brighter. The wet Glossy Accents on the flowers doesn't help either. But I did housework instead - aren't I a good girl lol!

I used :-

Image :- Penny Black 2409K Letter & Daisy.

Colouring :- Promarkers. Precision Pen for faux stitching. Distress Inks.

Sentiment :- Hero Arts.

Card Candy :- Craftwork Cards.

DP :- Paper Adventures.

Glossy Accents.

The flowers are 3D'd and covered with Glossy Accents but apart from that I've kept the card quite plain as it is a sympathy card. By coincidence one of the girls who works in the shop where I work in the Post Office lost her MIL yesterday so for once I'm prepared.

I'm entering some challenges with this card:-

Penny Black :- Paper Patch.
Magical Crafts :- Flower Power.
Papertake Weekly :- In Stitches.
I think that's about it. Have a lovely weekend everyone.
